a crow glided down
at my feet a letter was dropped
at the ground my body dropped
at my ear, words that I never wanted to hear were cawed and chirped.

I read it over and over and over. tears dropped onto the paper
I hunch over in sorrow trying to catch my breath over the soggy paper.

father does not seem to care.
we hold a funeral and I cry and tremble.
he doesn't seem to have any sorrow?

as I do my chores I can still feel your presence somehow.
im not sure if it's just this warm summer day.
im not very sure if it's a fireplace near.
im not very sure if it's a hug.
im not very sure if it's my heart.
im not very sure if it's you, big brother.

i miss you
