FLASHBACK

"Faster, B-Bokuto!" A girl screamed out as the male sped up his movement, sending both of them feeling euphoric from the heat formed in the inside. "I'm going to fucking cum soon-"

Beads of sweat form on his forehead, slamming her head down to the mattress to muffle the loud sensual noise flowing out of her. "How filthy." But just when he was about to speed up again, the room echoed with his phone booming the ringtone. The girl sighed out loud at the interruption.

Bokuto's arm reached for his phone from the nightstand, swiping on the screen. "Wrong timing, bro." He answered to the caller. Glancing at the girl under him, a mischievous laugh escaped.

"She's not feeling well."

Those word were enough to trigger his movement. He quickly pulled out of the girl who was eagerly waiting for him to continue but instead, she grew more frustrated at him. "Where are you going, Bo?"

"Emergency. (Y/N) is sick, again."

"Ugh. Such a low immune bitch."

"You better watch your mouth, Ayuzawa." He warned her with a stern tone, slamming the room's door before his footsteps faded away. She sighed, throwing the pillows off the bed.

"Kenma. Kenma. Kenma."

It's been days since Kenma last visited (Y/N) at Sakusa's house. Kenma and Hinata had decided to proceed with the operation in order to protect her from the person who's starting this so-called war. Not just from 'her' but from the boys too. Such bad influences are going to affect their operation. In that case, (Y/N) was told to cling onto Kenma all the time as Hinata is busy with practice.

"Tell me about Koushi Ayuzawa."

"Pardon?"

Kenma looked at her as his fingers stopped tapping on the keyboard of his laptop. "You heard me right."

(Y/N) shook her head vigorously. She didn't want to share anything about her to him because she knew nothing of her. "I barely know her, Kenma. But she does look familiar to me."

"You see, (Y/N). Long time ago, in a land far, far away, lived a young man with a cat and a do-"

"Get to the point, please."

He cleared his throat and moved away from his laptop, sitting down next to her on the couch as he started over again. "Kuroo and Bokuto had a beef. Long time ago, I was there and so was Ayuzawa. They declared a war and apparently, Kuroo lose so he had to give Ayuzawa to Bokuto."

"That was a few months before you came here. You were invited to the party, remember?"

She nodded and continued to listen as the male spilled every drops of tea he has stored. "Kuroo was the one who invited you through your friend. The plan was to take Ayuzawa back from Bokuto and that was why you got the dare from the brunette. Ring a bell? You were kinda bold, you know."

"As bold as a teenager in heat can be."

Kenma chuckled at the way she agreed to his words, "But then again, the 'game' didn't go as planned. It's natural for Bokuto to fall for you but is it natural for Kuroo to be the one who fell for you when he was the one who started these whole rules and games thing? You see everything that's happening now as a friends with benefits activity but have you ever considered yourself as a bait until recently?" 

His words went through her brain like a chain, everything is slowly making sense as to why the two of them were too 'kind' to her all this time. "So what you were trying to tell me is that I'm just a bait? And Kuroo getting engaged to Ayuzawa is a game over for Bokuto?" And Kenma nodded, avoiding eye contact with her.

"Kenma I- So Bokuto and Kuroo is still fighting over Ayuzawa?"

"That's what they thought she's up to. But no."

"Kenma just get to the point already, it's very confusing for me."

"Okay, okay. Ayuzawa is trying to 'be you' and have the two of them in her grip."

(Y/N) gasped in disbelieve. Part of her is denying the fact that she's being played but the other half is convincing her to believe. "Why would she wants Bokuto too? And how did you know all of these? How about Akaashi and Iwaizumi?"

"They helped to cover the 'game' from you." Ah, so the game is what people call it as "being a bait."

"This is too much for you to take at one time, I know. You should stay away from them for now." Kenma warned, sitting on the floor as he continued doing his work on his laptop.

"BUT- how is staying away from them makes everything okay? I can't just sit down and let-"

"(Y/N). They'll give up on you eventually."
