Encounter

"Father, how did the meeting go?" Elaine said while tailing behind her father like a dog. He responded "It didn't go as planned my dear...but don't worry I will keep you safe for what's to come." He held her close "Mom would've been so proud of you...right?" Elaine looked out the window "mhn" she mumbled. "Well, your violin class starts soon, you don't want to miss it." Her father said as he led her out the room. Elaine had walked off as her father waved. While walking Elaine stopped by the balcony and took a deep breath. "It's so quiet and peaceful..it irritates me." She sighed walking back. She went inside the music room and sat down beside her tutor as they started playing the violin. Elaine kept messing up which was unlikely of her to do. "Your highness please focus and concentrate." Ms. Mang said. "Focus? Practice dismissed." Elaine had walked out the room. She ran to her room and gathered her clothes packing them up. "I'll escape, I want to know more about this world. I want to know who killed mom." Elaine said in anger as she put her cape on and escaped through the window by a rope.

Village of Golden Wings

The princess was walking around the village, she's been here before but has never really explored it thoroughly. Elaine stopped after seeing kids huddled up around a stage. She gasped "Is that me?" Elaine walked closer to the stage as it showed two actors playing Princess Elaine and a man wearing dark clothes. "That must be the prince of Donkere" she said under her breath as she walked off...

"MOMMY! It's the princess!" A little kid from the crowd pointed at Elaine as everyone's attention went towards her. Elaine gritted her teeth "Damn you kid." She started running and took a horse getting on it. "HAH!" Elaine held onto the reins as she rode off the village to a forest.

Slav Forest

Elaine stopped and got off to feed the horse some of her leaves she saved from the ingredients in the royal kitchen. A few hours had passed as Elaine was still walking around the forest, "Say, do you know the way mr horse?" she looked at the horse as it just looked away. "Ah, you must be the shy type..hm..i'll call you Lili!" She smiled softly as her focus went back to the map of Astria. Right then an arrow flew right beside her making Elaine flinch as she took her sword out immediately. "Who's there?!" she looked around not seeing anyone in sight till someone had held her down.

"And who must you be?" A young man's voice said. It wasn't a calming or soft voice it was a fierce one. "..Prin-My name is Elena, yours?" she looked around trying to find a way to escape. "Rowon...Kim Rowon." The stranger said as he let go of her, "Are you from Licht? Your clothes and appearance say yes but your actions say no..ah are you a spy from King Luxire?" Rowon was cut off when she spoke "No, I'm just a merchant. I decided to walk around the forest." Elaine said as she got up and brushed her shoulders off. "Your clothes are very rich, well it's expected, I'm from Donkere, Prince Kier's bodyguard." He puts his hand out for her to shake. "I don't do handshakes, and if you're the Prince's bodyguard mustn't you be with him right now?" She looked up at him, her eyes locked with his as she got suspicious. "Oh, he's right there." He chuckled pointing in front of him as Elaine turned around seeing the prince. Elaine's heart all of a sudden skipped a beat. This was it, it was her chance to know more about the world, to know who killed her mother, and to be friends with the prince on the other side. "Y-your highness..." She bowed down at him, although his actions were unexpected as he lifted her chin up. He glanced at Rowon as he left immediately leaving the two alone. "What's her highness doing here?" He smirked. "What do you mean?" Elaine looked down nervously. "Don't act all dumb with me Elaine Villarreal, I know who you clearly are." Kier said as he made her look up at him. "You've got the wrong person." Elaine said as she pushed him, she got on Lili as she quickly rode off going back to the kingdom. "Darn it...i couldn't see his face." Kier tried to catch up but stopped as Elaine crossed the borders
