Ill rise up

Part 15

It's been a few weeks since the trial things are back to a normal routine, Demi is back in the studio working long days and Parker is on a regular rotation at work and I am spending a lot of time at Dianne's. Sabrina is back in LA and I mix her and Jensen. The boys have decided to make a permanent residency about 30 minutes down the road they are in the process of moving and have spent quite a bit of time at our house as they are moving, it has been cool I have been working on my trust with them. Dianne will be here shortly to pick me up for the day, it is 7:30 and I have just done dishes from breaky. I grab my backpack and the Blaze; Parker will be home in the next hour or 2 so we will leave Dexter here plus Jake and Carson will be here not long after I leave, they both have job interviews. Maddie text to say they are a few minutes away I head outside locking everything up. Dianne window is down like every morning and I kiss her cheek saying good morning making her smile.

"good morning baba" she says and I hop in the car after letting Blaze jump in.

"morning Mads" I say she turns back smiling but looking tired.

"morning Blaire Blaire" she says I raise my eyebrow up at her and she laughs a little

"I stayed up late watching YouTube videos" she says and I laugh. Maddie doesn't do so well with late nights. Whereas I am used to them, last night I hardly slept maybe 3 hours. But not because I was watching YouTube sadly.

We have been working for a while it is hurting my head. I take a moment to rest my eyes I keep getting blurry vision and a headache.

"Mama D my head hurts" I say rubbing my eyes and she looks at me with concern. She places her hand on my forehead.

"you a little warm but nothing to concerning, why don't you go and rest for a bit in Dems room and I will flick Parker a message. I think you need to get your eyes checked, these headaches keep happening" she says and I just nod walking upstairs to Demi's room which is kind of like my second room lately. I know Parker has tomorrow off as he is going from night shift today shift again. I feel my phone vibrate I check it and it is Parker. I answer the phone.

"hey Squirt, just spoke to Dianne, how bad is the headache" he asks sounding concerned.

"it's about a 5 just annoying and I keep getting blurry vision when I do schoolwork" I explain a little nervous I don't want him to be angry that I didn't tell him. I hear him hum a little.

"ok just looking at appointments, I can get you in for an eye test in 4 hours, can you go and check with Dianne to make sure its ok with schoolwork and that for me to pick you up" he says and I head back downstairs.

"mama D is it ok if Parker picks me up shortly, he can get me in to see the eye people this afternoon" I say and she smiles.

"of course, Hun, if you can do some work tonight at home, Parker, have you had any sleep? She asks and I move it to speaker.

"I had an hour, once I grab Blaire, I'm have another hour or 2, I'm ok mama I promise." He says and I drop my head feeling bad.

"Parker I can wait until another day, you need sleep" I say my voice sounds small and full of shame.

"Blaire, I promise I am fine, you come first kiddo" he says.

It was agreed I would hang here for another 3 hours let Parker sleep and he will pick me up after that. Dianne has given me something to help with the headache and I'm sitting back down to do some work.

"Mama D why if rain is clear does it make things darker when I hit it?" I ask and she looks up from making lunch confused.

"uhh well, you uhh, maybe google that, I really have no clue" she says laughing a little and I do as she says explaining to her and Maddie, it all has to do with the reduction of reflections and refraction.
