"hyunae woke up" min softly says walking into the kitchen
they have been waiting for hyunae to wake up after mark had saved her. why she ends up in these situations, no one really knows. but the news of her finally being awake again made everyone at ease
renjun jumps out of chair at the news and runs to her room, seeing hyunae sitting there almost lifeless looking out of her window
"princess" renjun gasps running to her but stops in his tracks seeing her flinch at his presence, and clench her blanket
he scrunches his eyebrows confused at her behavior, a sudden pain shot through his chest that he decided to ignore
"o-oh hey renjun" she softly says that it almost came out as a whisper
her voice showed obvious fear and renjun didn't know why
"is everything okay? do you need anything?" he says reaching for her hand calmly, only to have it moved by hyunae
she clasps her hands together and places it on her chest, almost as if she was protecting herself
"no i'm good" she quickly answers, avoiding eye contact
what is going on? was the only though running through renjun's mind as he looked at the girl he loved with a hurtful expression
"oh okay. well if you need anything just ask, get some rest." renjun softly says before walking out of her room, visually upset
"i think we should leave her alone for a bit" renjun announces before walking away and not saying anything else
"what happened?" chenle mumbled only to get a shrug from jisung who stood by his side
"renjun dear is everything okay? did you talk to her?" min questions seeing renjun walk out of the hallway from hyunae's room
"um, i think we should leave her alone for a bit. she doesn't seem to be in the mood for guests" renjun spat leaving her there confused and shocked
min was about to ask him what happened but chose against it and joined the confused group huddles near hyunae's door, she was going to ask them what was going on when a light shone through and mark appeared
"mark hyung!" chenle shrieks hugging the older angel earning a chuckle from him
"hello there chenle" he said calmly unlike the jumpy younger clinging onto him
