His family weren't special from the outside. They looked relatively normal, and their story wasn't unique. Adam kingston, an American bachelor, met summer morgan at a mixer during their collage years. They were attracted to eachother and later started a relationship which led to Adam proposing after three years while summer was pregnant. They had their first child, Mickey, a year before they decided to get married and were a happy family. While summer wanted another child, Mickey and Adam were comfortable as they were, so they didn't have Kasey until Mickey was 17. They were a happy family and always had been in the eyes of society. Completely normal as could be.
But Adam didn't meet summer at a mixer during their collage years. He had met summer in the army. She was a nurse and he was a veteran. The two had fallen in love immediately, but summer was German. She wasn't Jewish, but she was a part of the enemy's nurses. She ran away with Adam after she had nursed him back to health. Their families disapproves of the Union but they were very much content with their lives. They were afraid of having another child because of their parents distrust towards their situation, they had barely opened up to Mickey and another baby would be too much, but when they had Kasey, everything seemed to melt away. Mickey had wanted a sibling for so long that she was ectatic when she found out about her mother's pregnancy. And that was how the healthy baby boy, Kasey Harris Kingston -later changed to Kasey Harris Morgan Kingston- was born. While it may sound like a peculiar yet common romance story, it is in no way normal, because they later came to find that Kasey had strange abilities. It had started small, little static shocks, until he began to have seizures at night, destroying his room from the blinding shots of kinetic energy. At first, they tried to hide it,but when they couldn't hide it any more, they had to send him somewhere far from easy access to electricity. To the countryside with his grandparents in Germany.
And unfortunately, that was when the second war broke out. But if that wasn't bad by itself, Kasey Harris Kingston was reported a missing person within months of the start of the war.
