THE THUNDERS ROARED IN RAGE AS SHE RAN, NEVER ONCE LOOKING BACK, HER EYES KEEPING AWAY FROM THE ANGER IT TOLD.

Run. Run to the ocean faster, her frail mind told her as she tried her hardest to not let the wall of shining glass in her eyes to shatter to pieces and fall. She will be safe once you reach the ocean, go faster. Her mind kept telling her.

The woman carried a bundle, keeping it close to her chest to let the child be in peace. The woman's golden eyes shone in the thunderstorm, the rain ruining her usually beautiful form, but the woman didn't care, not once.

     Crunch

They were near. She could hear their footsteps as they tried to find her. She knew she could take them easily, but it was not proper to have the child in her and his blood path, so she trusted her friends and ran faster.

Once the ocean breeze reached her nose, she let out a sigh of relief. Almost there. Her feet didn't mind the sand as she usually would, rather, it brought her a type of comfort as her feet finally reached the waters. She finally looked at the child, knowing that no harm could hurt her as she reached the ocean.

The newly born babbled and giggled at the sight of her mother, her hands reaching for her mother's comfort. Had it been for the eyes, the child would have looked exactly like her mother. Fair skin, plump lips, and a smile which could calm the raging turmoil in this godforsaken hellhole.

"Μείνε ασφαλής, λουλούδι μου" Said the woman, a sad tone in her voice before she kissed the child's forehead, and let her go into the sea; which even in the blazing thunderstorm, still remained calm.
