Peyton walked into the house carrying groceries bags and bags from the mall and sighed softly, "Marcus? Are you home? You won't believe what I fou-" She paused as she entered the living room. She saw Marcus and Jonathan sitting in the living room.
Jonathan looked at her with an expression of annoyed and awkwardness.
"Oh.." She paused and her face fell slightly "I will just put away these bags and I will just go." Peyton said softly walking to the kitchen. She dropped the bags with food on the table.
She walked towards the hallway that lead to Marcus and her's room.
"Peyton wait," She felt someone grab her wrist, a image of Adam grabbing her violently appeared in her head. Peyton let out a small scream pulling her wrist away, she turned around to who grabbed her wrist and held her arm close to her.
Jonathan looked at Peyton in shock, his eyes traveled down her face to her neck and her arms. He never noticed the bruises and cuts before but he did now.
"Oh my god, Eve." He said softly calling her by his nickname he had for her.
Marcus looked at his girlfriend sadly, he knew what she went though. It made his blood boil that he couldn't do anything about it.
Peyton flinched a little and bit her lip as she fought the urge to cry. She placed a pained fake smile on her face and she sighed "I won't intrude on your time with your brother."
