Idk if what I wrote below is considered spoilers for the series but if you don't care or know what I'm talking about and seen the series, then you can proceed without caution. But in all the right purple boi is the before and the left red demon is the after, and the purple boi is depressed and bleeding and the red bean is happy and on a picnic!
Ok just bcuz I'm bored. The purple boi on the right is the before when he was abused by his father, and one day while his father was throwing another party and getting drunk he was helped by someone there who he never met in his life until that night, to escape and ran far far away from that place. Where he stumbled upon a demons hell hole and met a half demon where he was taken in and cared for, for months. There he went from a timid boy to a chill but deadly half demon and was renamed from Staph to Lychee (yes like the fruit) by the other half demon who was his mentor and father figure. Then a little after becoming a demon he was sent into a camp/tournament for certain people (possess magic and are most likely in danger from monsters) where he met a lot of people who he would love to call his friends, except the reason he was sent there was to kinda kill everyone there a couple days before camp closed for the fall and winter. Then fast forward to the day of the camps goodbye party and the half demon who lychee saw as a dad attacked with a group of demons so all his friends split up to fight them off. Then lychee killed his father figure :) so yeah also that purple bottle at lychees feet is a potion that can change appearances so lychee could blend in without his demon features tho his eyes are still quite demonish... but yeah.... I still remember the day I first watched the finale... *ugly sobs*
