"Yᴏᴜ ᴅᴏɴ' ʟᴏᴠᴇ ᴍᴇ. . . !"

HARRY didn't have a very clear idea of how he had managed to get back into the Honeydukes cellar, through the tunnel, and into the castle once more. All he knew was that the return trip seemed to have no time at all, and that he hardly noticed what he was doing, because his head was still pounding with the conversation he had just heard.

Why had nobody ever told him? Dumbledore, Hagrid, Timothee, Mr. Weasley, Cornelius Fudge . . . Why hadn't anyone ever mentioned the fact that Harry's parents had died because their best friend had betrayed them? Or the fact that some how he inprinted on Rory and her life was attached to his.

Ron and Hermione watched Harry nervously all through dinner, not daring to talk about what they'd overheard, because Percy was sitting close by them. Rory refused to come to dinner after minutes of Hermione begging her, and to add onto Harry's despair Rory wouldn't make eye contact or even talk to him or stand next to him, he felt weird without her comments always being their to cheer him up.

All he could think was, how is Rory mad at me for something I did when I was a baby. But that wasn't the case at all she wasn't mad at him, she was just frustrated  and confused. Was she possibly not her father's daughter, maybe that's why he didn't care to tell her he was getting married. Then of course her mind landed on the whole Harry thing causing her to stuff her face in her pillow and scream as loud as she could.

Her stomach was also growling in mist of all this, she should've really went to dinner but she couldn't face Harry without her stomach swarming with butterflies. She had no idea if she felt the same way towards him. She still liked Fred for gods sake, and she was thirteen she didn't want a soulmate right now, it was to soon, she was supposed to meet the one after she graduated and was already established in a career and was ready for love and it was supposed to be Fred not scrawny little Harry.

But she couldn't help but think about him all through the night, how his green eyes shimmered, or how messy his hair was or how he's always there for her. It seemed as though he took over her mind but she had been avoiding him until the start of break when he walked into the common room with her, Hermione, and Ron.

She sat in the chair her and Harry always shared by the fire and was reading her mom's journal her father just sent, he told in his letter it would explain it all. Rory didn't acknowledge Harry not once until he plopped right into the seat next to her's.

"Yes?" Rory questioned finally meeting eyes with him, closing the journal she barely got to read, she only got up to her Mom talking about Lily and their friendship.
