Manik opened the sealed door of Murthy Mansion and made his way towards her basement.
He knows his each step towards her basement would change their life, her life. With every step towards her, a bridge is building towards the two ends of his life, his duties and her.
His fingers hesitated to touch the door of her basement because he knows things will change and it will bring a hurricane in their life. But every he could realise his fingers opened the door and he was standing in her basement looking at room. She was sleeping in the way on the teddy, her Manik. He chuckled on her innocence as her named his gift on his name.
Moving forward, he sat infront of her, on the floor. Looking at her innocent face, her deep breaths with pouty face, his lips stretched with a smile.
He, very gently, tucked the start hair that was on her cheek.
"Kyu tumhrey liye yaha aya hun main? Kyu kich rhi ho khud ki taraf?" (Why am I here for you? Why are dragging me towards you?)
He kept looking at her face for hours, when his phone rang and before it could disturb her he came out and picked the call.
"Where are you, Manik? I need to discuss things with you regarding Murthy case!", He heard Abhi from the other side and sighed knowing the time is finally here.
"I'm here! Murthy house!", He said quietly and his voice told his story to Abhi.
"Tu usey mila?", He asked after a moment.
"So rhi hai!" (She's sleeping),he answered.
"Manik!", Abhi slowly asked, "You'll decide for her?"
"I can't play with laws, Abhi!"
"I'll there in 5! We have to sort it out!"
Abhi came with files and all details and they asked till dawn.
Nandini woke up on her usual time and after getting ready she came out to find Manik sitting with Abhi.
She gasped with happiness and said, "Manik!"
Both men stood and turned to her who was standing with her hand covering her mouth and twinkling eyes with happiness.
Both smiled looking at her and as Manik smiled Nandini ran to him.
Manik opened his arms for her but to his surprise she stood infront of her and said jumping on her toes, "Manik!"
"Come!", He said to her but she looked behind her to see if he's asking her out others. Not finding anyone else, she pointed towards herself and asked slowly, "Nan. Nan. aau?"
His heart broke on her surprise. Without answering her, he took step towards her and evolved her in his arms. Hugging her tightly, securely and picked her up in air. She giggled and said, "Manik!"
He kissed her hairs and whispered back "Manik's heart!"
