Cendrillon

Ford sat in a carriage. Tonight was the night, the ball Prince Cipher was throwing. He wasn't just there to attend the ball, he was there because of a man going by Axolotl, but he needn't worry about him right now.

The carriage came to a stop in front of the extravagant gothic castle adorned in black and gold. Even the footman noticed fords six fingered hands trembling. "Sir, you're here." the other said holding the door open for him. Ford slowly stood and stepped out, he wore his best suit which was deep blues and golds with white and black. Ford looked up at the castle in front of him, nerves flooding his being, carefully he slipped on his mask and walked inside, the inside was just as stunning as the out, a large chandelier hung in the center of the room, people chatted, danced, and drank all around. Ford looked around the room, across from it he could see the man, he wore a mask favoring his namesake. Ford ripped his eyes away from the man he now hated and looked at the clock, 11;00...not much time to get close to the prince.

Ford was drinking champagne as a stranger walked up to him, he instantly knew his target, Prince Bill Cipher, tall, slender, handsome.. Every woman in the kingdom wished to be his but word said he wanted a prince, Ford wondered..if he wasn't here for what he was could it be different? Could he be Bill's prince? Bill certainly was something, he had blonde hair pulled back with a black ribbon, his hair lay in curls down his back, his mask covered one eye completely hiding the damaged spot, but the visible one it was beautiful, it looked like liquid gold, his suit was all black and gold, but it looked amazing on him. Bill stood bowing to Ford who had been lost in his thoughts. "Why hello sir." Bill said a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh, hello your Majesty.' Ford looked at him putting on a soft smile. "You already can tell? Suppose these masks don't do their job." he chuckled. His laugh sounded welcoming to ford, he never wanted to hear it end. "I suppose not." ford said as he traced the edges of his own mask, once again looking at the large grandfather clock. 11;45.. God time flew, he didn't have enough time! Bill smirked wider. "Would you like to dance?" he hummed, Ford gave a slow nod, his mind racing with thoughts, Bill took his hand and led him to the center of the ballroom floor, all attention on them, whispers erupting from the crowd.

As they danced they whispered to each other, with each tick of the clock fords heart ached. Bill Cipher..he loved him.. He couldn't do this! His heart raced as Bill smiled at him, dipping him down, fords grip on the dagger he had hidden behind his back tightened. And the clock struck twelve. Ford couldn't hold it back anymore, tears fell down his cheeks and worry flashed across Bill's perfect face. "Are you-" he was cut off by a dagger being stabbed into his chest, Ford choked on his tears, Bill just gave a smile."Don't cry." he said kissing his cheek, and wiping Ford's tears, Bill would be lying if he said he had not felt the spark too, but people wanted him dead, and fate is now taking its course, Ford looked at what he was now considering his love, who was coughing up blood, a smile still on his face, "At least i have been killed by you.." his voice was wavering as he placed his hand on fords cheek blood now poolng on the ground, Bills legs could no longer hold his weight and he collapsed onto Ford who knelt shakily on the ground holding Bill both of them quietly crying. "I love you.." Bill managed his body going limp in fords arms, Ford sobbed holding him now covered in Bill's blood. A man walked over removing his mask. The Axolotl.. He was smirking like crazy as he bent down to Bill's body letting out a chuckle. "Finally got rid of him." he said, wiping tears from Bill's cheek. "I'm sorry for pulling you into this." He stood and dropped a bag of gold beside Ford, his payment. Ford was nothing but an assassin, a serial killer for hire... Only this time he killed the love of his life.
