Love and Lust

The Arrival

~Winnie's POV~

It was finally Friday. Everyone was out of town for the summer break except of course, me. I didn't mind though knowing what was to come. I was in my room reading some tweets and going through my tumblr trying to pass time. Finally at around 2:30 I heard a car door slam and drive away. I got up to my window and I nearly screamed when I saw the boys picking up their bags towards the door. I decided to wait until someone knocks. I don't want it to seem like I'm TOO eager. I hear a couple knocks on the door and I rush downstairs. I was giddy everywhere I couldn't hold in my excitement any longer. I throw open the door and nearly burst into tears when I see my best friends face.

"Niall! Oh my god Niall! It's been so long!" I sniffle back some tears.  

"Come here Winnie give me a hug" Niall says. I absolutely love his hugs. They're so comfortable. I break away letting Niall step inside and drop his bag. Next I see Zayn looking very happy which made me cry even more.  

"Winnie. I'm so happy to see you!" Zayn says. I crush him with a hug and I let him come inside. The next boy I see makes me laugh because he has the silliest grin on.  

"Liam stop! My stomach hurts! Just come here and hug me you silly goof!" Liam laughs and hugs me and whispers "I just hate to see you cry. 'Tis all." In his proper British accent. I give his arm a squeeze and I let him in. Harry is the one who caught me by surprise because he wasn't the young Harry I remembered. He looked much more mature which I hated because he is now so much more attractive. Sadly I think he saw my reaction because he winked at me and said "Hello love. So good to see you. You're the one who looks great". He winks again and comes in for a hug and before breaking away he kisses me on the cheek. Oh boy, I think to myself. I laugh at the fact that Harry is such a huge flirt but my laugh stops suddenly and turns into a much too obvious gasp when I see Louis. He seems surprised by reaction at first but then smiles cheekily which makes my insides melt. The last time I had seen Louis he still had his silly mop hair and frame glasses. Now he had this very nice sweep in all different direction. He was so hot. I missed his glasses though. He must've gotten contacts. I break the some what awkward silence by smiling at him and saying "Hi Louis. You've changed so much". Hopefully I didn't sound like a child. But I don't think I did because Louis said in return " Hello beautiful. So have you". He comes in for a hug and I take in every moment of it. He smells so good. They all do actually.

I let them all inside and close the door. Suddenly Liam screams "Hey! You got a pool! That's amazing!" Niall turns around at me and replies "When did you get it?" I tell them I got in in May. It was my idea. "And a very good one indeed" says Zayn smiling like a little kid through those adult words. "I've got an idea!" says Harry. "Pool party!" screams Louis. I laugh " I was going to suggest that for your first day back so you boys took the words right out of my mouth. There's a bathroom in there so you guys can change. I'll go put mine on."
