SMUT WARNING

~~~
Things have started to settle down. Everyone, including yourself, are unpacking their things from the boat that just took everyone back to the mainland. You couldn't believe it. You were so excited for everything to go back to normal. You definitely missed your parents but that wasn't anything new to you. Both of them worked in the capital and you decided to live in Liberio because of the opportunity you had working alongside Dr. Wagner. Your dad wasn't exactly fond of you working everyday with the Eldians but he knew how passionate you were about becoming a doctor so he let you go. You were only twelve when you moved out on your own and in the past six years you have only seen your parents three times. They were busy people and so were you. You didn't hold the fact that you don't see them often against them. You knew that they loved you very much and even paid for your apartment and sent you a hefty monthly allowance.
Some newbie soldiers came over and started grabbing your things hauling them off the boats onto the cargo train cart for you. You had quite some time before the train was leaving for the Liberio so you went to look for Colt, wanting to spend some time with him. It didn't take long to spot his blond head but as you starting walking up him you saw Zeke pull him aside, them following a bunch of higher ups with the General Calvi leading them. They must be having a meeting you thought to yourself. You had time to kill so you decided to just look over all the medical files, something you were going to have to do anyways in Liberio before you submit them.
A couple of hours later you feel a hand on your shoulder. You look up to see a smiling Colt looking down at you.
"How was your meeting," you say motioning for him to sit next to you. As he sits, you go to lean your head against his shoulder but instead he lifts his arm up wrapping it around you pulling you closer to him. You smile as you snuggle into him. This is something you guys always did. You would lock onto his arm or he would have his arm around your shoulder wherever you guys go. You guys have been doing this since you were ten and twelve so it was the norm for you.
"It was tense, I'll tell you that. I can't really get into detail with it but there is another fight coming up and soon," he replies with a solemn expression. "Well anyways, on a brighter note, the train is leaving soon and we can finally go home. I can't wait to see my family; it has been too long. I can already imagine my mother making a huge feast for our return. You'll be there right?"
Smiling you reply, "Of course I'll be there. Not because you asked though. I just love your family and your mom's cooking is to die for. It is making my mouth water just thinking about it." Colt laughs at your comment giving you a quick nudge. Your laughs are interrupted by the sound of the train horn blaring signifying the train is leaving in fifteen minutes. You both get up and head over to the train. You wave at each other as you part way. You have to be in the train cart with the other Marleyans while Colt will be in one of the Eldian carts. That is one thing you really hated about your country. The segregation and cruel hate it imposes on its people makes you sick to your stomach. You would love to travel the country with your best friend, but because Colt is Eldian he is limited to certain zones he can go. It wasn't fair you thought. How can they restrict one's freedom like that?
You sit in your seat in the cart leaning your head against the glass window. You were exhausted and it was starting to get dark out. You slowly let yourself drift off into sleep.
You were woken up a couple hours later by the sounds of cheering. The voice leading them is all too familiar. "Did you guys witness the bravery of our Eldian goddess?! Gabi took on the armored train in place of eight hundred Eldian soldiers! Comrades! Do you have any idea why this idiot risked her life?! Well, I do! She did it to save all your asses in the Eldian unit!"
