"say, who that?" monie asked, intrigued by the kid that just walked into the cafeteria.

"O!" her friend, jamie yelled, getting the guy's attention.

he walked over there, dapping his friends up and nodding at monie.

he nodded, getting on his phone before looking up.

"man yall come on before i leave y'all"

jamie, noah, and aiden scrambled to get up and omar rolled his eyes.

"you wanna come sweetie?" o asked, mentally facepalming himself.

he didn't wanna come off as flirty, sweetie was just in his natural vocabulary.

she lightly blushed before nodding and standing up.

she was only cool with going because her friends were too.

they got situated in o's car as they made their way to the restaurant, La Parilla, which was about 10 minutes from the school.

"monie you brought your card?"

"duh"

"okay now lil girl"

"tuh" she scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"how's world history going for you miss sweet 16" noah asked, which got omar's attention.

she's a sophomore?

she rolled her eyes at him once again.

"amazing. how's civics kicking your ass"

she flicked him off and began walking and she heard him behind her.

"you got jokes, huh?" she asked as he cackled, knowing she was NOT dripped out right now.

noah threw his jacket over her chest as they sat down.

"you stay having cleavage out"

"i don't try to.." she mumbled, and he felt bad instantly.

"my fault" he said and she nodded, putting the jacket on and zipping it up.

she sat beside omar, who hadn't said a word since they got in the car.
