"Hi, we are your new neighbors. We just wanted to welcome you to the neighberhood." An overly perky girl said pointing at her, a guy and a little boy.
Great one of thouse neighborhoods I thought to myself as I walked away.
"Lilly come back over her now please, and say hi." Spoke my mom. Shes kinda upsessed about being friends with neighbors. At least thats how it was back in L.A.
"I'm good mom."
"Lilly listen to your mother and get your ass over here." Yells Tom my moms new boyfriend.
"You can't tell me what to do Tom. Your not my dad."
"Lilly, please dear get over here."
"Like I said mom, I'm good." I put my ear buds in to ignore everyone.
Mom went on talking to the neighbors. Tom went on unpacking. And me I just walked around the block with my ear buds in.
When I got home mom was waiting on the porch of our blue 2 stroy house.
"Lilly I know your mad at me and your father." She spoke softly.
"First off Toms not my dad and never will be. Second I'm not mad why do you think that?"
"Because you used to love meeting the neighbors with me."
"Yeah when I was seven mom."
"What I really wanted to talk about was that tomarrow you start school at Basnet High."
"You said you where going to home school me after what happend last time at a public school.
Why can't I be home schooled?"
"I need to work. I'm sorry once Tom can find a better job then maybe I can home school you but until then you go to Basnet High."
"Ugh! I how you always lie to me mom. Whay can't I ever get what I want. Just even one time mom." I stormed off to my roon to cry.
"Why does she hate me?? Why does my life hate me? Can't my life ever be normal?"
