When Midoriya woke up, he woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
Literally.
“Owwww.”
The green haired boy groaned as he pushed himself from the uncomfortable position he was in.
For some weird reason, his upper half of the body was on the floor while his lower half of the body was on the bed
His legs were twisted in a weird position, one in and one out.
His left hand was twisted with his elbow inverted.
Thankfully, his other hand was simply outstretched above his head.
A shiver traveled down Midoriya’s spine as he stretched himself, wincing when he heard a satisfying crack from his elbow.
That felt… surprisingly better.
Grabbing blindly for his phone by the bed table, he winced at the sudden brightness of his phone in the dark, cold room.
Cold?
Midoriya groaned when he realized what exactly had happened last night.
A thunderstorm had struck last night, and the electricity supply had been cut off, because Kaminari had frightened himself while he was studying late into the night.
Midoriya had to calm the blonde teen down, deal with a bunch of sleepyheads who were annoyed at the sudden cut of electricity.
Which also means the heaters weren’t working.
It then resulted in a quarter of his dorm mates piling into Todoroki’s room, hoping to get some warmth from the deadpanned teen.
This greatly affected Kaminari, who now broke down, thinking that everyone would start to hate him.
Midoriya sighed, and after much comfort and reassurement, he finally got the blonde to sleep. Ruffling the blonde’s soft hair, he made sure the mitten headphones was fitted tightly, but not too tight, against the blonde’s ears.
Then, he went to fix the power trip.
At 2am.

Once, the power supply was back up, he had to check up on every room, turning on the heater for them, including the rooms where his roommates were still sleeping without a care.
He had to.
He couldn’t risk having them catch a cold the next morning after all.
After he turned on the heaters, he had to go to Todoroki’s room, and gently shake each of the sleeping dormates that clearly should not be in Todoroki’s room.
What was worse was Ochako Uraraka.
Midoriya sighed as he struggled to reach Uraraka, who had floated to the ceiling. Then, he had to literally pull the floating sleeping figure back into her room while making sure she didn’t smash into any ceilings before tucking her in. Only after ensuring she would stop floating and start sleeping properly, he could finally leave.
