Harry's Pov
I chose my heart.
I was done listening to my mind so I leaned forward and unlocked the door before twisting it open. As it opened, Louis stand quickly to his feet and I met his eyes.
His own were glazed in his own tears and I watched one fall slowly down his cheek. We just stood there, staring at each other, waiting for the other to do something.
"You do?" I whispered nonetheless, needing that reassurance in his answer.
"I do," he whispered with a so sure voice. I narrowed my eyes, the broken knife blade falling from my hand with a clatter but neither of us paid attention to it.
I took a big stepped forward to reach him and crushed him into a hug. He hugged back just as tightly, as if I would run or disappear, but now, in his arms, I knew I wouldn't. He was mine, I realized, and I was his. I don't think I could imagine being with anyone else.
I melted into his embrace, breathing in his fresh ocean scent.
"M'sorry, Lou," I breathed, burying my head into his neck.
"Don't be. Just please don't do that again," He whispered back. "Please."
"I won't," to show I meant it, I pressed a kiss to his skin. He pulled me away and I looked up at him, meeting his teary eyes with my own.
He caressed my cheek tenderly before gripping my jaw to pull me up into a kiss. As our lips touched, it seemed like every drop of his love poured into the kiss because that was all I felt. My tears mixed into the kiss too, making it salty, and I noticed that he was crying too.
It was a shock but I only kissed him harder through our shared tears, both of our feelings pouring out into the kiss. The betrayal, the pain, the sadness that we've both been through. That he hasn't expressed but feels. Everything up unil this moment.
Two seemingly broken people finding love and it turns out; serendipity.
We pulled back to breathe, our noses brushing, letting our ragged breaths mingle.
"I love you too," I breathed against his lips before connecting them again. He kissed me back full of passion, leaving no space in between our bodies. He pushed me back into the wall and towered over me.
Even though the kiss was hungry, his knuckles brushed my cheek lovingly. He pulled away, knocking his forehead against mine.
"I don't want to lose you," his voice was small.
"You won't," I whispered, bringing a hand up to cup his face, him leaning into the touch. I pulled him to my lips and kissed him softly. I pulled away, bringing him back to look him in the eyes.
"Be my first, Lou," I breathed, stroking his smooth skin. His eyes widened and I knew he understood what I was asking. I could tell he was also holding back by his eyes that grew darker.
"Are you sure, love?" He asked softly. My cheeks warmed and my heart pounded.
"I want it, Lou. I want you. I love you," I said honestly and I did. I truly wanted this with him.
"I love you too, Harry," he murmured back before pulling me in and kissing me hard enough to be dizzying. He started to walk us both, taking my hands in his, never breaking our lips.
He walked us carefully down to his room which was close. He pulled away as we both walked in. My breaths evened as he closed the door before turning to me.
He walked up to me with soft dark eyes, taking a hold of the old blue sweatshirt of his I wore and pulling it up and over my head. I helped him, lifting my arms, and he dropped it to the floor.
