Only reason so far I can see to this ship being shipped is because they're both the parents of Class 1-A.
It could be because of the trip to get -insert spoiler-, or it could be just because you personally think the parents of the group should be together.
And like, I'm not gonna complain about this when people out there literally ship Todoroki x Dabi- (as I mention this almost as much as the scarring Todoroki x Mineta fanfic ;-;)
