|Taylor's POV|
I felt really bad after i left the Wilk's house, but it doesn't make sense for Niykee to not be happy for her brother and her best friend for finding someone they truly care for.
The more I thought about it, the more my heart hurt. Did Sammy actually care for me? He was just one of those 'player' boys, but doesn't every girl think they can change those kinds of guys, then in the end their heart is broken into a million pieces because they made a drunken choice. There's so many possibilities that could occur if I got into a relationship with Sam. He is not a relationship type of guy, so I don't see us getting far. Maybe that's what Niykee is trying to keep me away from. The heartache she knows I'll go through, because she knows Sammy is no good at treating girls correctly. I don't care at this point. I'm going to do what I want with Sam, whether Niykee likes it or not.
|Sam's POV|
All I could really think about was Nate and Niykee. He really likes her, but I don't know if it's enough to stay loyal. I guess we'll find out later.
"Sam!" A feminine voice exclaimed, obviously being Niykee.
"Hm?" I hummed in response, contining to keep my eyes glued onto the screen in the living room, while she was -I'm assuming- in the kitchen.
I saw her skip out of the white connecting door, and plop down next to me on the couch.
"Yes?" I smiled at her playfully.
"I have a surprise," she perked.
She grabbed onto my wrist and led me to the front door, opening it and dragging me to the end of the driveway.
"Why are we at the end of the driveway Niyks?" I questioned.
After 3 minutes of her not responding, and just looking at me, a car pulled up mildly close to where I was standing. I looked over at Niykee and she smiled widely. The back door opened, and seconds later a familiar face appeared from behind the door, with the same expression as my sister. It was Maddie. The first girl I ever dated. Correction, fell in love with. We dated for a year and 4 months, but broke up because she ended up moving to Texas with her dad.
I ran towards are before she could even put her bags down, and pulled her into a tight hug, slightly lifting her off the ground. She giggled quietly, oh how I missed that laugh.
We were interrupted from our hug, by someoen clearing their throat. I let Maddie back onto the ground, and all 3 of us turned around, only to find Taylor, looking quite angry.
"Who is this?" She asked, with a tone of ice in her voice.
"Uh.. Taylor, this is Maddie. An ex." I stated, coughing awkwardly at the end.
"An ex? Didnt look like much of an ex?" she questioned, suspiciously.
"Why is any of this your concern?" Niykee piped in.
"It's my business because me and Sammy have history. We 'talked' but I guess that meant nothing." she said, obviously hurt.
"Oh please. You were just a fuck and dump. That's how Sam works. Get used to it." Niykee spat at her. Oh hot damn.
"Niykee. Chill." I demanded, grabbing her arm.
"No no.. it's alright. She's right. I'm just a fuck buddy." Taylor quoted the words 'fuck buddy', and walked away, leading herself back to her home.
"See the shit you cause?" I shouted at Niykee.
"I start? I didn't start anything. Don't be dramatic." she rolled her eyes.
"No. This is exactly what I'm talking about. You constantly start shit you can't finish. You constantly think you're cool because you can bitch someone out. Stop acting like you're the shit, when you're the exact opposite. Don't embarrass yourself kid." I chuckled. She looked at me as if I ran over her scooter when she was 7.
"Fuck you." she spat harshly at me, and walked back inside. I turned to Maddie and apologized for her having to see all of that.
"Haha. It's okay. I understand." She smiled comfortingly. All the reasons why I loved her suddenly just came back. I needed this girl more than I needed anyone else.

It's been a couple hours and I've heard nothing from my sister. Maddie went back to where she was staying, which was with we grandma that lived close by.
I walked up the stairs to my room. When I passed Niykee's room, i debated on going in or not to apologize. I really don't know where that sudden outburst came from, but it definitely came from somewhere.
I hesitently placed my hand on her door knob to her white door, slowly opening it, revealing her mint green, poster colored walls. I looked around, in search of seeing where she was, when I felt a slight breeze hit the back of my neck. I was like a chill, from outside. I turned around and looked towards her window, seeing it was opened halfway, obvious now that she had left. Grabbing my phone from my pocket, and dialing her number while grabbing a Gatorade from the fridge.
"Hello?" she answered on the 4th ring.
"Niykee! It's 9 pm. Where are you?" I asked, weariness obvious in my voice.
"Why does that concern?" She chuckled bitterly.
"You're my sister. Where the fuck are you?" I questioned, demandingly.
"None of your business. Be home soon." I could basically hear the smirk in her voice as she hung up.
I had no choice but to wait until she gets back. Her ass is so going to be kicked.
These are the times where I wish my parents were here. Why do they have to be on a business trip? And why does Niykee have to be so stubborn? And why does Taylor think we're a thing? I mean she's cute, but she knows I don't do relationships. Ugh. I hate how things are.
