We had been flying for a couple hours now but I couldn't get any sleep

"We're landing" a guy said

"Tommy wake up come on" I shouted

He got up quickly and I jumped out the helicopter and ran

Thomas caught up time and grabbed my hand

"You good estrella" Thomas asked still running

"Yeah yeah I'm fine" I said

Thomas and I got inside just before the doors closed

We got out in a room and had been waiting   for a while

A man that looked like a rat walked in

"You kids  doing  alright sorry about the fuss we had ourselves a bit of a swarm" he said as we walked up to him

"Who are you?"I asked

"I'm the reason you're all still alive" he said

"That's not what I asked and we're not all still alive" I said

"Now come with me we'll get you kids squared away"he said

We started following  him

"You can call me mr Janson I run this place for us it's a sanctuary safe from the horrors of the world you all should think of it as a way station kind of a home between homes" Janson said

"That mean your taking us home" Thomas said

"A home of sorts sadly there wouldn't be much left of wherever you came from but we do have a place for you a refuge outside the scorch where wicked will never find you again how does that sound" Janson said

"Why are you helping us?"I asked

"Let's just say the world out there is in a rather precarious situation we're all hanging on by a very thin thread the fact that you kids can survive the flare virus makes you the best chance of humanity's continued survival unfortunately it also makes you a target as no doubt by now you've noticed behind this door lies the beginning of your new lives" he said scanning a card and then a door opened

"First things first let's do something about that smell" Janson said

We got taken into a shower area we're we all had cubicles with a shower in it

By it in the shower and took of my clothes and stood under the warm water

"Woohoo"

"All right" I heard winston say

We all finished showering and got new clothes

I got taken to a lab of some sort and I seen newt across from me

I sat down and a women sat across from me

"So all I want to do is ask you some questions" she said

"Ok"

"So how are you feeling?"

"Shit I just lost a lot of my friends" I said

"We'll do you kind me asking for names"she said

"Ok umm Jeff alby Ben Gally Chuck and loads others" I said

"What would you do if you met someone who was with wicked" she said

"Tell them how they made us suffer and watch our friends die and make them suffer like they did to us" I said smiling

"Ok that's you done follow me" she said getting up

She led me to this room and she opened the door and there was loads of people sitting at the tables
