London, England. In a large town where streets are packed with couples and cheerful children. It was hard for her to feel anymore. When nobody has cared for so long, it's hard to accept it when someone finally does.

Her tossing and turning shook the bed and soon enough the rage grew inside her as emotions threatened to fall from her eyes. Even the worst of dreams wake her... Kicking and scratching, quickly shifting her position and then everything was gone in a flash.

My toes stuck out of the thin blanket barely covering my body. I peeked out from the deep sleep I had fallen into the night before. Elle was sprawled out in the corner of my room clutching a crumpled sheet of paper. I sat up and saw more detail in her face... She had tears in her eyes and stained on her cheeks.

"Elle," I managed a whisper, but she stayed sound asleep as I got out of bed to find her phone laying next to her. Alexander and her were fighting again. I brushed the beautiful waves from sticking to her eyes and cheeks. "Elle," I said as she opened her eyes. "You okay?" I asked.

"Lyd, it's just been, you know, difficult this week. Okay?" Elle said trying to pull herself together. I nodded taking her in my arms and letting her cry. It hasn't been normal since... The incident "Well, I have to get ready for a photo shoot. Do you need a ride to school?" Elle asked standing up from the carpeted corner.

"Um, nah. I'll walk with Leila." I said getting up myself.

Elle nodded walking out of the room to prepare herself for work. Roaming to the bathroom, I pulled out my make up drawer, looking in the mirror to see the reflection of someone I was unfamiliar with. I was not the same person I was two months ago. My long, slender fingers brushed the loose brown strands from my forehead and tucked them behind my ear.

I shoved the anxiety pills in my make up drawer and pushed them to the back where they blended in with my eye shadow palette. There were bottles of perfume and a stick of deodorant resting on my window sill. A very familiar tune echoed throughout the house, leaving me curious to where it came from. My thoughts got the best of me, so I wandered down the stairs to the main room where two boys stood. Alexander and, I don't reckon seeing the other one before. They're stationary positions, tall and lengthy. My feet were placed at the bottom of the staircase, examining the bodies. Alexander's friend jerked his head toward me as a smirk spread across his face. I faked a smile and ran back up the stairs.

Alexander was a dirty blond with an oval shaped head. His eyes were a pale blue with gold specs and stubby brown eyelashes. He was three years ahead of me and one year ahead of my sister, Elle.

Some sort of excitement rushed through my body, but I quickly shook it off as I remembered to change. A black, long sleeved sweater to match a pair of dark blue jeans.

I shrugged, "Good enough." After dressing myself, I combed my hair out and twisted it into a bun. My ears detected someone coming up the stairs, and then a knock on my door. "Come in," I muttered.

The door opened gradually, and Elle walked in. "Come meet my friend before you go to school. Please?" She begged. I let out a sigh.

"Fine," I agreed.

The two of them stood broad shouldered and blank faced making our living room look quite small. Alexander cleared his throat abruptly.

"Oh, right! Sorry," she said shaking her head playfully. "Lydia this is-"

"Lydia? That's an odd name," the boy with the darling green eyes interrupted. This type of question seemed to come up often when my name was being exchanged.

Elle sighed, "It happens to be my sisters name Harry," she finished. That was his name. Harry. His skin was toned and inked with tattoos nearly everywhere. He had a full head of curly, blow dried dark brown hair.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you," Harry remarked extending a hand toward me. I was unsure of shaking it, but did so out of comfort. His full, pink lips curved a slight smile.
