"chan!"

alex burst into the said male's studio with a bag of food in her hand. "you need to eat food."

chan looked up at the girl and gave her a smile.

"hello lexie. how ya doing today?"

huffing, alex smacked the back of his head, causing him to let out a tiny noise of pain.

"i'd be better if you wouldn't disregard your health constantly! you literally look like skin and bones with two muscles thrown in. eat."

chuckling, chan reached out for the food and placed it on his desk. he then turned around and grabbed alex's waist, pulling her closer to him and seating her on his lap, her back against his chest.

"ack—"

"just let me be. i missed you."

smiling softly, alex felt chan snuggle into her back and exhaled, content with the feeling of being in his arms.

she looked outside the window and saw the snow on the ground, an idea popping up into her head.

"chris...wanna go eat outside?"

humming in consideration, chan lifted his head up from her back. "how though? it's snowing and it's cold."

"i brought really hot tteokbokki so don't worry, it can keep us warm. and yes, before you ask, it is the mild one," she said, turning her head slightly to look at him and smiling.

"ok then, let's go."

alex waddled out of the building and to the small garden rest area that was covered with snow. using her coat sleeve to clear the snow from the top of one of the picnic tables, she sat down on the bench and set out two cups and chopsticks for her and chan.

chan slowly came outside a while later after saving all of his work and reheating the food. he placed the tteokbokki and kimbap on the table and sat down across from alex with a smile on his face.

"this is nice," she said, smiling right back at him and quickly serving the food.

both of them dug in quickly, happy when the warm food heated them up again.

"ah, this is good. where's you get it?"

"hm, i got it from that one place by the train station? the really small one nestled between other stores? they also sell a protein set with their tteokbokki so i got that too since you probably need it but i forgot it at home, whoops."

chan shook his head and picked up a piece of the kimbap and the radish kimchi that came with it and eating it.

they ate the rest of their food in silence, the only noise being the ones of the busy city around them. alex set down her cup and put her hands back in her pocket to grab her hand warmers.
