Chapter 14: The Mystery animal Revealed

A/N: I know one of my readers believes Akira is related to Karin, and Anko believes her sister is in Danzo's foundation. You find out when the time comes who her sister she won't make an appearance yet, but eventually, Akira will tell her team the name of her sister.

The next day Team eleven woke and ate breakfast before continuing their mission to locate and capture their animal target.

"Alright, let's pack the tents and clean up our belongings, then we continue our mission," Mizuko-sensei said, putting her water bottle back into her bag.

While Kaito was working with Kei to take down the tents.

Everyone was packed and had the tents put away.  Team eleven was ready to now continue their mission.

"Based on Kei and Akira's report, the animal had gone to the right of the woods," Mizuko-sensei said, looking back at the three genins behind her.

"Yes, we saw a couple of signs that it was somewhere located over there," Akira said.

"Then that is the direction we are going in," Mizuko-sensei said, walking in the right direction with Kei, Kaito, and Akira following close behind her.

Team eleven was walking through the forest while keeping a close eye out for signs of the animal.

"What kind of animal do you think we are looking for?" Akira asked.

"I don't know, but based on the marks on the trees, it's a medium-size animal with claws," Kaito stated.

"We won't know what animal it is until we find it," Kei said.

Mizuko-sensei then suddenly stopped walking.  The three genins then came to a quick stopped so they didn't bump into their sensei.

"Mizuko-sensei, why did you stop?" Akira asked.

"We're close," Mizuko-sensei said as a rustling sound was heard from behind the bushes.  "Everyone move slowly and quietly so our target doesn't pick up on us," she commanded in a quiet voice.

The genin nodded and slowly walked towards the rustling sound.

Team eleven walked through the bush, where they spotted a medium-size orange and black creature.

'What is that can't tell from the back of its body.' Kei thought, looking at the creature with narrow eyes.

"What kind of animal is that? All I'm seeing is it back," Kaito muttered.

The orange and black creature turned toward Kaito's voice growling.

Team eleven then noticed an orange and black fox with red eyes. An angry fox with its fur sticking up as it was growling.

"Looks like when been tracking a fox," Kei said.

"Yes, and it seems to be angry about something. We need to calm it down somehow if we plan to capture it," Mizuko-sensei said.

"Let me try calming It down," Akira said, sauntering towards the fox.

"Wait, Akira, I don't know if that's a good idea," Kaito said.

"Relax, I got this handle," Akira said as she continued to walk toward the growling fox. "Hey, buddy, it's okay. I won't hurt you," she quietly said, stepping closer to the fox.

The fox continued to growl at Akira as she walked close.

"Everything ok," She said.

The fox then looked at her hair, and its growling was starting to stop.

"That's right. It's okay. There's no need to growl."

The fox then completely stopped growling when it suddenly spoke, surprising everyone.

"An Uzumaki," The fox said in a deep voice.

'Did that fox just talk?' Kaito thought, looking at the fox, confused.

"You can talk?" Akira asked.

"You're not a normal fox, are you?" Kei asked.

"Yes, that right girl with snake-looking eyes, "The fox said. " My name is Masaru, a Ninja fox, and summoning." The fox now known as Masaru said.

"A summoning, but how you know I was an Uzumaki?" Akira asked.

"Yes, a summoning, and I knew you were an Uzumaki and have the signature red hair of an Uzumaki. Plus, you have a large chakra supply like every Uzumaki, so you, not some random person who happens to have red hair, " Masaru said. " Any I just know because foxes have been known to be summonings for Uzumaki."

"I see," Akira said.

"Do you mind telling us why you are causing so much damage around here?" Mizuko-sensei asked.

"I was originally back at home with the rest of my kind hunting for food, but when I got back with the food, my daughter was missing from my den where she was supposed to be with my sick mate," He explained. "And I have been searching for her for a few days now."

"We help you find her won't we, Mizuko-sensei?" Akira asked, looking at Mizuko-sensei.

"Alright, we help you, but once we find your daughter. Please go back home and don't cause any more damage near our villages," Mizuko-senesi said.

"Yeah, because of the damage you be causing, we were given a mission to capture you and get you away from the village before someone got hurt," Kei said.

"You help me find my daughter, and I won't cause any more trouble," Masaru said.

"Alright then are mission now is to help find his daughter," Mizuko-sensei commanded.

"Understand," The three genin said in unison.
