The air was chilly, glorious, and filled with the scent of sand and rubber. The playground busting with noises of the children which cluttered it.

A handful of the girls endured in a game of hopscotch, while others fancied themselves with jump ropes. The boys littered the other parts of the playground, throwing balls around in sport.

One small girl, a fair child with blonde locks and radiant blue eyes, sat afar from the carefree children. One would expect a shimmering look in her eye, but that was replaced with a dullness. Her shoulders were straight, and held a more upper heir than the others cluttering the outdoors.

Her face, unlike those of the other kids, was unmoved, perfect and pale. She seemed more of a porcelain doll rather than an actual human being. Her eyes were fixed upon one of the young girls. This specific one, surrounded by others her age.

She would get to her soon.
