Sarah: Hello everyone and welcome to my first wattpad story and my first attempt at a Yu-Gi-Oh! (please don't hate if it's really bad). I have written a little bit of the duel scene, but I don't think it will be a full one unless enough people ask for it. Yugi, do the disclaimer

Yugi: Sarah does not own Yu-Gi-Oh!, the story and the characters. They belong to their original owners. Sarah does wish, like many people, that Yu-Gi-Oh! was her's, but unfortunately it is not. Please rate!

"Introducing Yugi Moto, known as the King of Games and the champion of duel monsters. If you don't know who he is then you haven't been living the past 4 years!" The female announcer was ecstatic at what was probably the most exciting thing she'd ever done. I tended to have that effect.

Stepping out into the almost blinding light, camera flashed from every direction. This was biggest place I'd ever duelled before and I was very much looking forward to it. Waves of people were crammed into their seat, they were hoping for a good match. I wasn't going to disappoint. I had never lost a match so far, I knew it sounded conceited but I spoke only the truth. A small smile pulled at my mouth and I gave a little wave, not unlike the ones the Queen is known for. I moved towards and sat down at the table at which I was going to face my opponent. The table was made of oak and was where we would play the game.

"Now I am proud to present his opponent, Yami Sennen. Yami is a new duellist to this tournament."

A guy swept out onto the stage, bringing silence in his wake. People gasped in surprise and even I was shocked. He looked very much like me, from the magenta-spiked tips of my hair to my puzzle which I always had on, although I had no idea why. Without it I felt like part of my soul was missing, horrible cliché which is used far too many times to be dramatic, but unfortunately true. Anyway it was a gift from my Grandfather which had taken me many years to solve so that was also why. The resemblance was uncanny and I wondered for a moment if he was just a zealous fangirl (or fanboy). No, I decided, it was too realistic than a lot of cosplays I saw of me (I had seen a lot of both, fangirls and cosplays). He was taller than me, although that wasn't hard to achieve since I stood at 5"0 (I am 20 by the way so this is diminutive!) and was older too, in his twenties I believed. I stood up and moved towards him. A trivial smirk appeared on his face and I wondered if I had only seen it.

"Hello Yugi, I'm Yami, let's have a good duel," Yami. The boy shook my hand, his hand felt warm and a light tingle went up my arm.

"Hello Yami, I'm Yugi as you probably know. Of course we will, can't disappoint the many people can we?" He had a curious feel about him like he was concealing something; Yami wasn't someone who could be seen at face value I was sure. When he finally broke the handshake, I wanted him to put his hand back although I'm sure he left it there longer than it should have been. We walked to opposite side off the table, sat down and handed each other our desks. We then began to shuffle each other's decks and then gave them back again. I used to be really bad at shuffling but I had grown better the more I did it.

The announcer bounced up to our table, "Which one of you wants to go first?"

For a moment nobody spoke up, "I'll let Yugi go first." I wondered if it was a trick on his part but I shrugged and nodded at the announcer who was waiting for a response.

We both hollered, "It's time to duel, "and the duel began.
