POV: girl
" I pulled my red, cotton jumper over my head as the cold, winter air of winter pinched my face. It was Sunday  and Sunday's are the day that every orphan gets to roam the streets of London. And yes I'm an orphan. Apparently my parents left me on the steps of the orphanage and ran away so I've been here for the past 14 years. I have no friends or relatives and the kids at the orphanage think I'm weird because of the scar on my head. It's like a lightning bolt on my head, and I mean it doesn't bother me but to the kids at the orphanage it's weird. I'm weird. Weird things have been going on ever since I turned 11 (not that anyone cares about my age) like I'm never aloud to get the post even though one of our chores is to get the mail every week but when it came my turn they said not to get it and so daisy went to get it. Daisy is mean. And when I say mean I mean a ferocious tiger in lip gloss. She parades around the place like it was her destiny to be an orphan! She brags at the table of people my age that when she's older and famous (like that's gonna happen!) she will be the greatest orphan of all time! Nice story daisy but that spots already been taken by BRUCE WAYNE! Duh! Anyway back to me it's probably about time I told you what I look like. I have long pale blonde hair, green eyes, I'm decent sized and as I said before have a scar on my head that is above my left eye. Whenever the head teacher (mrs Greece) gives us our monthly haircut I'll come back the next day with it all long again! And then I get in trouble for it but it's not my fault. So that's me I guess. So yeah, I'm in London on a Saturday in the freezing cold with no one. I'm still walking when I come across a small shop with brown walls and dirty windows. Named the Leaky Cauldron. I decide quickly that there's nothing else to do so I open the shop and I hear the tinkle of the bell.  A tall man at the counter looks at me with sad, tired eyes and they suddenly open very quickly. "Oh my......" he starts "it's a Potter!" I go to turn out of the shop when all the people in the bar crowd over me and I fall to the floor. I'm scared and worried as all the people trample over themselves to look at me. I kick and yell to get away but a loud voice drowns out my yells. "oi!" It booms " well, let me ge' a loo' at 'im then." A huge hairy hand the size of a dinner plate grabs hold of my arm " I scream in agony as it pulls me above all the people" I  give a little Yelp as I come face to face with the biggest man I've ever seen "let me go!" I growl but he just stares at me with a long bearded face. I try and kick free but his grip is so strong I give up. He's won. this is the end. Ok, that's a little dramatic. " blimey...." he starts. "if you don' mind me askin'"he says quietly "who are you?" "I...m Abi. Abi Potter" I reply shakily. The man puts me down gently and tells me his name is Hagrid. "I'm the game's keeper of hog warts school of witch craft and wizardry." "Hog what now?" I say Rudely " oh sorry" " that's all right, that'll be the magic school that I'll take you to" " woah, woah, woah! What about the orphanage I'm at won't they know I'm gone?" " let us take care of that" Hagrid said with a wink. " I have so many questions!" I said dumbly. " I can answer them in a bit I just want to show you this first.." he trailed of and we walked behind the pub to a small outside room with brick walls surrounding the area. Hagrid walked over to one of them and grabbed a long, pink umbrella out of his pocket and tapped on a couple of the bricks. All of a sudden the bricks turned and twisted to open up to a alley with shops lined up all along and there was a magical feeling about it all. People in long robes and little witch hats were hurriedly rushing past going from shop to shop. " Welcome abi, to diagonally"
