When I opened the door the kids were in the living room on the couch watching a movie "hey kids" "hey mum" "hey Alice" they said * hey * in unison.
I had the boxes in my hands. I grabbed the remote control and turn the tv off.
"Mom why you turn of the tv, me and Jug was watching our show" said Betty a little frustrated. "Sorry Betty, but I have to tell you guys something and there is a gift for you two"
They looked at me raising their eyebrows, I gave them each their boxes.
They opened the boxe at the same time and and pull out the onesies. They looked at each other and then looked at me, I was smiling but really nervous and excited to know if they were happy.
"Are you pregnant!?" They said at the same time.
"Yes I am" I said looking at the floor and playing with my hands.
"Oh my god thank you Alice for doing me a big brother again, you are incredible" he said and got up form the couch and hug me.
We separated form the embrace, then I looked at Betty who was still chocked. "Betty are you okay darling?"
"Hum yess I guess"she said and get up form the couch "I'm a little chock but it's okay and thank you mom for doing me a big sister, it's been a long time since I'm waiting for this to happen. I really hope it's a girl" she told me putting a hand on my belly.
"I really hope it's a girl too." I put my hand on Betty's hand who was on my stomach. "And I hope it's a boy, I want a little brother because I already have a little sister, plus there are too many girls." We all was laughing.
"Are you gonna tell dad Alice?" Jughead asked seriously.
"Uhh... yes i think tomorrow I'm going to Toledo and tell Him the news." I wanted to tell him the news in person.
We spend the rest of the day watching the tv. I made dinner for us, after the dinner I decided to go in my bedroom and put my pajama.
I was now lying in my bed, stroking my stomach and talking with the baby. "Hey baby, it's mommy , hope you're ok in there. Today I saw you for the first time and I am so happy that you are here, I can't wait to see you and to hold you in my arms..."
I made a pose in my sentence because I got emotional. Then I continued the conversation with my baby
"I can't wait to tell your daddy that you are coming into our lives...I love you baby... And what do you think if tomorrow we are going to see daddy, that's a good idea, don't you think?"I said while I was rubbing gently my stomach and then I fall asleep.
It was already the morning, I went to the bathroom and got ready. I was wearing a slightly tight-fitting white dress that stopped above the knees and the baby bump was definitely there in that dress, with heels. I curled my hair and put some make up.
I joined the kids in the kitchen. Their jaws dropped when they saw me. "Wow mom you are so gorgeous!!" "Yeah I confirme that." I smiled to them and responded "thank you kids" I was going to drink a glass of orange juice when I heard Betty says to Jughead "oh my god look Jug we can see the baby bump"
"Indeed yes we can see"Jughead had replied to betty, after drinking my glass of orange juice I looked down at my stomach "yes we can see a bump" I said with a little chuckles
I said goodbye to the kids, took the ultrasound and put it in my bag, then i got to my car and drive to Toledo.
