In this one shot, Clay is 13.
Warning for abuse on a child, violence.

-Come back here you little moron! Screamed Ash to Clay.
-Please dad don't hurt me. Pledged Clay.
-Shut up!
Ash came close to Clay and started beating him. A Few minutes later, he finally stopped and headed to his leaving Clay behind on the floor unconscious.

*Few days later*

-Come on Clay move your ass, I have to be at the Base in 30 minutes, and you're coming with me.
-Yes Sir. Said Clay while finishing eating his breakfast.
A few minutes later Clay finished and joined his father in the car.
About 20 minutes after they were at the base.
-Ok, don't stay in my feet, I don't want to see you till tonight. I don't care about what you're gonna do but don't do anything stupid.
-Yes dad.
-Do not call me "dad". Ash told him grabbing his arm violently.
Clay hissed in the pain in his arm whom come from the day Ash left him unconscious on the ground after betting him.
-Yes sir. He said lowering his head.
-Good, now, get out.

Clay started walking, but he didn't really know where he was going. After a little while he finds the toilets and stay in it for the rest of the day.

*Ellipse till the end of the day*

-Clay! Where are you?! Asked Ash angrily.
But Clay couldn't hear him, he was still in the toilets, hiding from his father. He was too scared to get out.
-Clay! Get your ass back here! Now!
-Wait Ash, don't worry, we will find him, go wait outside, the boys are still here, they're going to help me find him and get him back to you. Said a voice that Clay didn't know.
-Ok, but if in 20 minutes he's not here I'm gonna get him myself. Respond Ash.
-We got this. Said the man.

Clay heard footsteps and voices, his father was gone.
-Okay, guys, Ash's son is somewhere in the building, help me find him.
-Copy boss. Said another guy.
-Trent and Brock, you stay together and check in the east bay, Sonny and Nate, you check in the north bay, Ray, with me.
The kid can't go anywhere else in the building, if you find him, call me.

All the guy nodded and went to look for the kid.
About 10 minutes later, Ray and Jason entered the toilets.
-Clay? Are you here? Asked a man.
-Yeah. Respond Clay.
-Can you come here? The man asked.
-No. Said Clay.
-Why?
-I don't want to leave the toilets, I'm scared. Said Clay.
-Scared of what?
-My father.
-Why?
-He's mean to me. I don't want to get out.
-I can help you if leave the toilets.
-Do you promise? Asked Clay.
-Yeah, I swear to you that I'm going to do my best to help you. But I need you to leave the toilets and tell me what's going on.
-Okay.
Clay opened the door and saw Jason and Ray.
-My name is Jason, and this is Ray. We're going to help you okay?
Clay nodded.
-So, what's going on?
-My father, he's mean to me.
-What did he do? Did he shout at you? Asked Jason.
-Yes. And he hit me.
Jason looked at Ray with panic in his eyes.
-Are you hurt?
-I just have a couple of bruises. Said Clay.
-Look son, I'm going to do my best to help you, but for now we can't do anything. I'm going to talk with your father and with my team Okay?
-No please I'm scared, I don't want to go back. You promise me to help me!
-Yes I know son, but first we need to have proof, if we don't, we're not going to be able to do anything to help you. You need to get back to your father. And I swear to you that I'm going to keep a close eye on you and if I ever see anything I will come and help you ok?
-I'm scared.
-I know Clay... come with me, your father is waiting. Do you have a phone?
-Yes. He said.
-I'm giving you my phone number. If anything happens to you, call me or send me a message and I will come Okay?
-Yeah.
Jason gives his number to Clay and went to the parking lot where Ash was.
When Ash saw his son he took him by the arm and pulled him in the car.
Back home the nightmare begins for Clay. His father started to shout at him for hiding from him and started to bit him.
Clay took his phone and texted a message to Jason:
/Help, he's betting me, I can't do anything/

A Few seconds later Jason respond:
/On my way!/

About 10 minutes later a lot of commotion entered the house. 6 soldiers came into the house, and they all ran to Ash who was betting Clay to death.
-Call the police! Jason said. Trent, help the kid!

A man that Clay didn't know came to his side and started asking him questions:
-Hello Clay, my name is Trent, I'm here to help you. Who are you feeling?
-It's hurting.
-What's hurting? Show me.
Clay put his hand in his belly.
-Here and my head and my left arm.
-Okay, let me check on you, we're going to call an ambulance.
-I'm scared. Said Clay starting to cry.
-I know, but I'm here to help you. He will never arm you again okay?
-Thank you. He said hugging Trent.

Trent smiled at him and a few minutes after the ambulance and the police arrived.

*At the hospital*

-You have a broken arm and few bruises, but it will pass in no time! Told the doctor to Clay.
-Thank you said Jason who was beside Clay.

The doctor nodded and leaves the room.

-Clay, I have a question for you. Said Jason.
-Yes?
-Do you want to live with me and my wife Alana?
-I don't want to bother you. Respond Clay.
-You're not. It's a proposition. You can come and live with me, or you are going to be sent in another family. So, do you want to come with me?
Clay thought about it for a second, and he finally said:
-Yes.
-Perfect, then I'm going to sign your papers, and you can come with me.

Jason signed the paper and went to his home.
When they arrived Alana was here waiting for them.
She prepared something to eat for Clay and Jason said be they then went to sleep.

For once in a long while, Clay was finally able to sleep without any nightmares, he was finally free from his father and the beating. He was finally happy.
