Third POV

Previously *

"I saw a rainbow today Aunt Yi Rang" Yeonwoo told his aunt calmly. He knew what a rainbow was but just never understood when people said it was full of colors while the ones he would see were just gray.

"What?!?!" Aunt Yi Rang said as she turned, vent down to his level and grabbed his shoulders.

"Yeonwoo-Ah when exactly did you see this rainbow. When did you see color?!?!" She fastly said panicking as she lightly shook him.

"A classmate came up to me today, during lunch." Yeonwoo said calmly as he didn't really get why his aunt reacted the way she did.

After that they just rushed home, she told his father about it and they decided to move. At first his father didn't see the problem but he realized that Yeonwoo was too young to experience color rush and the things that come with it. And with his sickness he knew he wouldn't be able to take care of him. So in the next few days his aunt went to tell the daycare about the move and that he wouldn't be attending anymore. They packed up everything and just moved to another city in Korea.

Yeonwoo didn't mind all this since he had forgotten eveything the next day. Since he didn't exactly faint like most monos do when the first meet their probe the effect of the color rush hadn't fully affected him like the rest. Which is the one that gives their mono the chance to see color. So since he didn't faint it still particularly cause him to forget everything as soonas he went to sleep. Since the color didn't seem much to him but it seems like it was a lot for his brain.

So after that day he had forgotten it all and it was never brought up again. He grew up to be 9 at the time and until then they explained the whole mono and probe even if his Aunt wasn't so happy about that idea and how his parents were when they first met. He learned what his aunt's job was. And he also got to see cases of monos and probes, even if he wasn't supposed to.  Unfortunately by that time his father had already passed away because of cancer. Its been about 2 years since that happened. Yeonwoo continued to live his life as it is with his aunt.

•Back to The Days of Day Care•

But what happened to the boy who gave him a chance to see the world a different way. Well that boy went to the daycare again the next day and noticed that yeonwoo wasn't there. He thought he might be sick so he didn't think much of it.  But he didn't doubt that he sure did miss Yeonwoo.

Even if they weren't close. After what happened the day before it made him more curious about Yeonwoo. He had already seen him in a special way days before, but he remembered the way the colors circled in Yeonwoo's eyes and that he could never forget. The next few days he noticed that Yeonwoo still wasn't  there. So he went to the teacher and asked about Yeonwoo.

"Teacher, where's Yeonwoo?" - the boy

"Ah- his aunt came the other day, to tell me that little Yeonwoo was going to move away." - Teacher

"Huh? Why?" - the boy

"Now don't you worry Yohanie, I'm sure it was for a good reason. Maybe they needed to leave for something and maybe Yeonwoo is having a good time there as well." - Teacher

"Oh.... okay" said YoHan quite sad that Yeonwoo had moved away. Now he won't ever get to see someone in a special way. And he won't be able to see the colors in his eyes.

Time Skip

Yo Han also had grown up by now and when he officially had to start school in kindergarten he had moved to attend school elsewhere. At kindergarten he got to meet a really nice boy. The boy's name was Jung Joo Haeng. He thought Joo Haeng was really cool but he could never really see him the way he saw Yeonwoo. Yeonwoo remained in his mind 24/7 not being able to forget the way he saw him. Because truly until now Yeonwoo was the only one he can really see.

But unfortunately things don't always stay the same. Just like Yeonwoo left a day to another. Or when Yohan met a new friend. Unlike those other memories one was fading away and not appearing. They both forgot each other as time passed. One might remember, while the other might not. But even if they do, they don't know where the other remains.

Two boys meeting and leaving. One seeing something new, while the other saw something he loved.... even if he didn't know it was. Sometimes life remains the same because it won't prepare us for something that will change us, good...... and bad.
