I woke up to my phone ringing. I opened it to see Jeongin's name. I check the time and see that it's eight in the morning. I answer the phone and put it to my ear.
"Morning." I yawn tiredly.
"You just woke up? Whatever, good morning."
I smile and yawn. I walk over to my bathroom and turn the shower on.
"I'm going to take a shower. I can talk to you still or I can hang up. You can pick."
"I- uh...I kind of don't want to hang up..."
I smile at his answer. It was as if I could feel him blushing. I don't know, it's weird.
"Okay, I'll talk to you as much as I can. I'll be in and out quickly anyway."
"Okay."
I took my shirt off and then the rest of my clothes before getting into the shower. Jeongin and I talked about the most random things. It was nice to have someone to share moments like this with someone. I could see him being more than a friend. He didn't even reject me when I kissed him or pulled him closer to me.
"Hyunjin...do you know Han?"
"Han as is Han Jisung?"
"Mhm."
"Yeah, I know them. Why?"
"I just wanted to know why people say they and them whenever they bring up his name."
"That's because they're nonbinary. I won't tell them that you called them him but you have to try to call them by their pronouns."
"Oh...oops..."
I laughed and turned the water off. I put a towel around me and then walked over to my phone. I look in the mirror as I put my earrings in and mess with my hair.
"So, do you want to come over again tonight? We can go to the mall tonight since we have no school tomorrow."
"Hold on. I'll be right back."
I chuckle as I hear him get up and run out of his room. I pick up my phone and walk to my closet. I quickly get dressed in black skinny jeans and a Black Veil brides hoodie. I mess with my hair a little more before getting socks on and getting my bag ready.
"Okay, I'm back! My aunt doesn't mind me going over again. She said it's good that I made a friend. I mean, I guess it is...I don't really get along with people..."
"Why not? You are so adorable and cute. You are the nicest person I know...but then again, I don't normally get out of the house."
Jeongin and I laughed. He made my heart left whenever he laughed. It was the cutest thing I have ever heard. It's music to my ears.
"Hyunjin...can we leave for school now? I kinda want to see you..."
"Kinda? That's not a good enough answer for me."
"I- never mind. There is no use. I'll see you at school. I'm going to go now."
"Wait, don't hang up!"
I quickly get up and grabbed my bag. I run downstairs and get my shoes on. I could hear Jeongin laughing on the other end of the phone. I sighed as I hear him walking down his stairs slowly and peacefully.
"There is no need to rush." Jeongin joked.
"Yeah, alright. I'm leaving now."
"Okie dokie."
I smiled and walked out of my house. My mom works as a nurse so she's normally not home in the morning.
I walked past Felix's house. Changbin was waiting with Han and Bang Chan. I smiled and looked at them.
