The Old Well

kagome got out of the shower, got her school uniform on, brushed her teeth, and brushed her long black hair. Before leaving the bathroom Kagome took a long good look in the mirror with a smile.

"Kagome! Are you ready yet you're breackfast is getting cold!" Her mother called out from down stairs waiting for her 15 year old dauter Kagome Higurashi.

"Yes mom I'm all done!" Kagome said in a sweet calm voice as she came down stairs and went strait to the kitchen, she then heard her grand father talking about a jewel of some sort to Sota.

Sota was Kagome's little brother, curently he's in the 6th grade so he's not in middle school yet. He's afraid of the dark and he's really shy, kagome sighed and sat next to Sota and saw that Buyo, there house cat was sound asleep under the table.

"Here you are dear" Her mom said as she placed a plate of egg's bacon, and toast on it.

"Thanks mom this look delisous!" Kagome said as she put her anda together and smiled up at her mother. Her mother had smiled back at her and continued to wash some left over durty dishes.

Minutes later when Kagome had finished her food as well as Sota they both webt to the door and got there shose on. Sota had left first while Kagome had to be stopped by her mother for her lench box.

As soon as Kagome got out side she saw that Sota was still at the temple, but Sota was standing in the old shrine where a old well had been made a thousands of years ago.

Kagome had decided to sneak up on Sota from behind and try to scare him at least a little.

"You know Sota you're not supposed to be in here" Kagome said as she put her hand on Sota's shoulder.

"AHH!" Sota screamex slightly as he felt his sisters hand land on his shoulder. Once he realized it was his older sister Kagome he cal.ed down a bit and turned to look back into the old shrine. "I know... but Buyo is in there and I can't seem to get him out though"

Kagome looked at Sota then bacm at the shrine, she sighed and went inside to get the house cat.

"Buyo! Come on out Buyo!" Kagome called out the cats name as she walked down the steps of the rotting wooden planks.

"Be careful sis!" Sota called out as he heared squeeking coming from under the steps. Kagome heared the squeeking to and jumped a bit sending shivers down the middle of her spin. Before Sota and Kagome knew it a black dark figure jumped twords Kagome.

"AHHHH!!" Kagome shouted as the small black figure jumped her. She fell to the ground, hitting her head slightly on the well. "Ow... that really hurt..." Kagome said as she rubbed her head, as she got up slightly she saw Buyo sitting on her stomach.

"Buyo!" Sota called out with a slight smile on his face.

"Darn cat..." Kagome said as she picked up the cat and held him slightly to her chest. "Now Sota take better care of Buyo..." Kogome said as she took one step forwrd, not noticing the phantom hands that were pulling her inside of the well!
