Anna's POV
"I...I can't believe it..." I stammered, shocked. They quickly broke apart and Cedric came towards me, I backed up.
"Anna, I can explain, I swear I didn't-"
"I don't care, I...I need to go," I said. I could feel myself shaking, trying not to let my temper rise. You see, I kind of have a bad temper. If I let it overpower me, my special powers will go crazy, and bad things could happen...
"Anna-"
"J...just stay away f...from me," I stuttered, and ran out of the castle. I stopped at the edge of the Black Lake, my my feet were killing me because of those high heels. I sat down, and tried to calm down, but just couldn't. A flame flickered to life in my hand. I tried to extinguish it, and failed. I knew my temper was rising by the second, and that I needed to do everything I could to control it.
"Anna, are you okay?" I heard Harry ask behind me.
"Please just...just leave me alone..."
"No, I'm not-" he was cut off by the ground rumbling. Ugh, why did I have to have such a bad temper?
"Just go, before I hurt you, or anyone else," I muttered, but he sat next to me, ignoring my protests.
"You're not going to hurt me-"
"You don't know that..."
"Yes I do, and I know you wouldn't hurt me, well, unless I deserved it," he said, and chuckled. I didn't look at him, even though I knew he was right. Even though I felt like I couldn't control my temper or powers, I knew deep down that I could, and he would be the last person I would hurt.
"Fine, you're probably right. But what did you come here to tell me? That it wasn't what it looked like? Or to scold me for being with him in the first place?!"
"Well... maybe I was going to do one if those things..."
"Just forget any of this happened-"
"No, I'm not going to forget this happened. But you deserve better than him-"
"The reason he probably did that was because I wasn't good enough for him in the first place! I'm never good enough for anyone! I'm such a damn disappointment..."
"That's not true-"
"You're only saying that because you're my friend..."
"No, I'm not, I'm serious."
"No, you're Harry," I said and smirked. Even though I was avoiding his gaze, I knew he was rolling his eyes, and smiling at my corny joke.
"Really?"
"Sorry, I just had to..."
"At least you're smiling," he said. I looked up at him, a frown starting to paint its way across my face. He wiped a few years that I didn't know were falling. I quickly straightened up, and kept my face emotionless.
"I'm just...going to go back to the common room, see you later."
"Anna, wait, can I ask something?"
"Yeah, I guess."
"May I have a dance?" He asked, holding out his hand. I sighed and smiled, knowing there wasn't a way out of it, and took his hand. When he put his hand to my waist, a shock went through my body, and I could feel myself blush. I quickly shook it off, and we went with the loud music that was coming from the castle. I noticed how he was quite good at dancing, unlike he was last time I danced with him. Maybe he was nervous before? He dipped me, and when he brought me back up, our faces were only centimeters apart, and we just stared at eachother, wide-eyed, and barely breathing. I knew it was only a few seconds, but it felt like forever as I stared into his vibrant, emerald green eyes. I realized how much I had missed him, and I wanted him back. The whole relationship was just something to get my mind off Harry. No, I couldn't, he was probably going out with Cho, and I didn't want to mess that up for him, because he would never do that to me. I quickly got rid of those thoughts...
"I'm going to go back to the common room, see you tomorrow..." I trailed off awkwardly, and turned to go to the castle.
"Wait," he said, and I turned to face him.
"What?" I asked, and he embraced me in a hug.
"You're perfect, don't forgot that," he whispered, and my heart did a flip. I could feel a smile creep it's way across my face. When we let go, I went to the castle, and headed for the common room. Reeve came up to me, giggling.
"Hey Anna! Thanks so much for getting Draco to ask me!" She squealed.
"No problem, so, I can tell you're having fun," I said and smirked as I saw Draco coming towards Reeve, and she didn't see her. He quickly picked her up bridal style, and she started laughing.
"You thought you could get away from me that easily?"
"Maybe..."
"I need to go, I'll see you two later-"
"Why aren't you with Cedric?"
"It's not a big deal... Bye," I muttered and left, before they could question me any further. I didn't really know what to say or how to feel... I was really depressed, but the slightest bit happy.
Harry's POV
I was so mad, I couldn't believe Cedric did that to Anna. I wanted to go look for her again, but I knew she just needed to be alone.
"Have you seen Anna?" a voice asked behind me. I turned around and saw Cedric. It took everything to not punch him in the face.
"She would probably be with you if you weren't such a-"
"You know what? I just realized something. It was probably your idea to get Cho to kiss me so you would get Anna back."
"I would never do that to her, I've actually encouraged her when she was going out with you. And besides, it looked like you were enjoying it when Cho was snogging you, you didn't push her away or anything, so don't tell me it's my fault," I growled, my jaw clenched.
"Yeah, like I'm going to actually believe you. I know you have been trying to get her back ever since the beginning of the year, with the help of your little friend. I think her name was Reeve..."
"It's not like you have any proof-"
"Maybe I don't but I still know that it's true, and so do you-"
"No, its not true. I'm her friend, and I care about her. I'm always there for her, unlike you-"
"Its not like I had the chance-"
"Sure, because you were too busy being fawened over by other girls-" I was saying, but he threw a punch at me, and I ducked just in time. Before I knew it, we were fighting. Neither of us were winning, we were just blindly throwing punches and kicks.
"WHAT THE HELL?! STOP!" a voice yelled, and we both knew it was Anna, but that didn't stop us. Both of us were so mad, and barely anyone anyone said or did would stop us. Then, an invisible force blasted us both back about a foot. It was probably a spell casted by Anna. But we both got up and charged at eachother again. Anna tried splitting up the fight, but I think she got punched, because there was a crack, and she groaned. We realized she was hurt, and that made us stop fighting. We quickly went over to her, and saw her clutching her nose, which was probably broken.
"Anna, I'm sorry-"
"BOTH OF YOU SHOULD BE!" she yelled, mad as ever.
"But-"
"You two are so immature! I can't believe you were actually fighting-"
"You're something worth fighting for..."
"No, I'm not. And I swear, if I see you two fighting again, I will actually get involved. And trust me, it won't be pretty," she growled, and walked off. Cedric and I glared at eachother one last time before walking off, so we wouldn't fight again.
