I began to get an eerie feeling as we slowly drove away, the house getting smaller. Time passed and reading street signs became boring by the minute. And before you know it, I was asleep. And suddenly, a weakening familiar feeling jolted me awake. My stomach. My stomach was hurting. Once again! Maybe because I hadn't ate breakfast right? That had to be it. Or so I thought? My eyes open within seconds. The car was parked, I looked around and began to stretch only coming to realization that my mom wasn't in the vehicle. Finally snapping out of my sleepy and tired state, it took me a while to notice we were parked in a apartment complex. All of the homes were black. Matte black. And all resembled each other. I need to throw up...I'm about to, is all I thought. I hopped out the car with swift movements, and that's when I saw her. A girl. Looking to be the same height as me, her hair was jet black just as mines, it took me no time to realize this girl looked to be Identical to me. I had to be tripping out. There was no way. It was too close to exactly identical. I opened my mouth up to speak, but right then and there I began vomiting. This was so horrible. It was regular to get sick sometimes but this- this was hell. I felt like my intestines were being pulled out from my stomach. I finally finished and looked up, wiping my mouth with the back out my hand and she was no longer there. That's when I heard my name being shouted in the direction of where the front doors of the look alike houses sat. It was my mom. So this is where we are staying? Talk about basic. Why were the homes set to be exact anyway? My thoughts were interrupted by my mom tapping my shoulder and asking if I was ok, gesturing to the VIAL pile of vomit sitting in-front of me. I explained to her that I woke up with a stomach ache, not mentioning the almost-exact-totally-identical girl I saw. We began heading to the house, seeing she had most of the stuff unloaded, she explained she didn't want to wake me and that I should rest. The couch was in the living room and I grabbed a blanket out of my backpack from the car. I grabbed my computer and turned on my favorite show. I soon began to drift off into a warm slumber.....I woke up to a completely dark house. The house was set up, not completely but it was manageable. I heard my mom's voice echo from upstairs it seemed as if she was on a call. And in the corner of my eye, I see something zip by. I couldn't make out exactly what it was but it was a figure. A human figure maybe? I sat up straight, looking around and decided to head up to my room. I grabbed all my things and headed up to my room. I walked past my moms room quietly not trying to interrupt her call, but catching my name every now and then. I flicked my light switch on, seeing my mom had unpacked everything for me, I set my stuff down and closed my door. What was that? I can't seem to let it slip my mind? What was that! I heard footsteps coming closer, and my door swung open. "How do you like it?" My mom asking with a cheeky smile. "I don't know." I huffed. Talking wasn't my thing. Especially talking about I feel. But wanting to please my mom I answered again, "it's nice. I like it" She calmly placed herself on the end of my bed and looked at me and said "The neighbors are pretty sweet! They want to meet you!" She began. "I met almost the whole complex. It's so peaceful here." She continued. What was that noise?..Wait there it is again! I motioned for her to be quiet pushing my finger to my mouth. She looked surprised and confused but complied. Was someone downstairs? She rolled her eyes after a few seconds and resumed. I muted her out, all I could hear was faded footsteps getting closer by the minute. "Are you listening?" My mom looked at me with a wild facial expression. "Yea" I replied dryly. How did she not hear that? She got up and blew me a kiss and said her good nights and explained where the bathroom was located since I didn't get to tour it while it was day out. I couldn't sleep, I had been taking naps back to back all day. I decided to go check out the bathroom, stepping out of my room seeing that my moms light was off. A horrible chill ran through me. Someone had to have been staring at me. And again. The terrible pain I had experienced today, that hellish feeling. I ran to the bathroom, or what I thought was the bathroom and flicked the light on as fast as I seeing a empty room as I was spinning around to cut off the light and shut the door, I saw a figure. It was her. The girl I saw from earlier! I began to vomit. Specks of blood peeling from my throat. All on the floor.
