POV : Conan (RK900)

Connor, Hank and I walk into the police station that was crowded the last time I was here but is surprisingly empty and quiet. It must be 'cause the first shift hasn't started yet. I thought as I continued through the building. Connor started telling me about Gavin Reed, my partner starting today. "He will not take being assigned an android partner very well and will cuss you out every chance he gets" He says. "I give you full permission to put him in his place as needed," Hank added with a smirk as he got up to go to the break room to get coffee. Connor rolls his eyes at Hank's comment and shows me to my desk that is right in front of Gavin's. "You can personalize it later, right now you need to go and talk to Fowler in his office" he says as he motions toward the captain's glass office.

POV: Gavin

As soon as I walk into the building I can feel everyone's eyes on me, like I had been late or something. I look at the time and notice that my shift doesn't start for another 5 minutes. I check-in at reception and immediately head to the break room to grab my 3rd coffee for the day. As I enter I see Tina sitting at our table with her own coffee and her face lights up when she notices me "Heeyy, Gayvin!" She greeted me. I smile and roll my eyes at my nickname as I grab a paper cup and pour some coffee and a lot of cream and sugar, 'cause I have a sweet tooth and I need to be fully awake. I sit down with Tina and can still feel people watching me and it's making me uncomfortable. Tina notices my discomfort and starts a conversation to distract me. "Sooooo, are you ready for this weekend?" she asked. "I am just going to sit in my apartment with my cats and avoid all human interaction" I sigh. She groans "You are not sitting in your apartment. You are going clubbing with me!" she basically yells making me laugh and shake my head as I get up.

When I get to my desk I set all my stuff down and as soon as my butt hits the chair I hear the most anxiety raising voice from behind me. "REED MY OFFICE NOW!" I groan as I get up and grab my coffee and head toward Fowler's office. When I open the door I keep my eyes on my coffee as I walk over to his desk and sit in one of the chairs in front.After a few minutes of awkward silence I look up to see Fowler is looking at the corner of the room. When I turn my head to see what he was looking at I notice Connor just staring at me. "Why is Connor here?" I am generally curious. I look back at Fowler who disappeared from his chair. I turn to see him leaving the room and shutting the door behind him. I look back at 'Connor' and notice differences like his jacket that white and black instead of the jackets he got from Hank after he deviated. I also noticed his eyes were icy blue instead of Connor's welcoming brown eyes, his jacket said 'RK900' on it and that's when I realized. "You're not Connor." I state out loud. "No I am not." it states while staring at me curiously. "I am assuming you know what's going on and why he left us alone in his office?" I ask. "Yes" it states not explaining. "You wanna tell me?" I'm getting irritated. "When I tell you, you will get mad and probably try to kick the shit out of me." it states. I was slightly floored by its cussing and muttered "I didn't know Eli even allowed cussing to be added in as a program." The android looked confused. "You know my creator?" it asks with its fake curiosity. I watched as he scanned me to figure out my connection to him and when his face shows confusion I chuckle. "Why does your file only have your birthdate, parents' names With the date of their births and deaths. Why is your file missing other important information?" it asks, looking slightly confused. I chuckle "I am mysterious and I might tell you if you tell me why we were left alone in the office?" I ask. It gives me a quizzical "We were left in this office alone to see how well you will react to something with being able to hurt someone." I narrowed my eyes at it "And what is that something that would make me hurt someone once I learned it?" I asked. "That I have been assigned as your new partner and that you have no choice in the matter." It stated calmly but has a yellow LED. I looked at the android in shock for a few minutes. After the initial shock wore off and I scowled and calmly walked out of the office. Everyone was staring at me in shock that I didn't beat the shit out of the android. I glared "What the hell are you looking at?" I yelled at them. I walked up to Fowler, Hank and Connor, glaring at them. Hank smirked, Fowley was trying to hide his smile and Connor had a worried look on his face. "Fuck you" I pointed at Fowler, "Fuck you" I pointed at Hank, "and I hope you get scraped" I pointed at Connor. As I started walking away I heard Fowler "You still have to work with him." I flipped him off and walked to my desk and started working.
