Valentina POV
Today was the 1 of September and I have just arrived at kings cross train station. I am extremely nervous as I have just moved back to England. You see, when I was 7 my parents moved me to France from London so that I could attend Beauxbatons Academy of Magic when I turned 11. I attended Beauxbatons Academy up until I was 15 but a week before my 16th birthday my parents told me that i would be moving back to London and transferring to Hogwarts, they're were familiar with the school because they had gone there when they were younger. They were of course placed in Slytherin. I was secretly excited for Hogwarts but I didn't let it show.

Over the past few years I had being visiting London for annual balls. They were usually held at the Malfoy manner due to it was large enough to accommodate everyone. The pure look that usually attended were my family, the Primroses, The Parkinson's, The Avery's, The Rosier's ,The Abbots, The Greengrasses, The Flint's, The Nott's, The Zabini's and of course The Malfoy's. I overheated my parents talking and that said that the Malfoy's are hosting a Christmas masquerade ball.

I was excited because my childhood best friend ,Pansy Parkinson, attends there and she was placed in slytherin, I began overthinking (as I usually do) boy do I hope I'm put in the same house? , what if I'm placed into Gryffindor then she'll hate me? Will I have any friends?  What if I don't ma-

I was torn out of my thoughts when I heard my mother shout my name 'Valentina Primrose'. We had suddenly remembered that we needed to go through the wall onto platform 9 and 3/4. We go through and stand in complete ore with the overwhelming amount of Hogwarts students that stood before us.  I was standing there for a good 5 minutes before a little boy ran into me heading towards the train.
"Im sorry miss" said the small boy, eggar to go to his new school.
"No worries" I said laughing to myself.
I turned around to see my mothers arms open, I run to her and she held me in her loving embrace for awhile until the last call for people to hop aboard the Hogwarts express. I gave my mum a kiss on the cheek and gave my father a tight hug .we exchanged our goodbyes,I clutched my handbag and walked onto the old train.

I wasn't sure where to go so I followed the long path right to the end I walked into an empty compartment, I put my bag on the table and stared longingly out the window while waving my goodbyes to my parents. 'I'm gonna miss them' I thought to myself. Suddenly, the door opened by a group of people talking with one another. I froze as a girl with short raven hair stepped into the compartment.
"Pansy Parkinson" I said loudly. She wiped her head round so fast I could have sworn it would have flown off of it had any more force. "VALENTINA" she screamed,diving on to me and giving me a big hug.

I felt more relaxed as I hugged her, at my old school I was popular but I never really had any friends because I always kept to myself. Once Pansy finally removed herself from me she turned to her friends and introduced me. "Everyone this is Valentina Primrose my childhood bestie",she said to them in an excited tone. They all sat down and introduced themselves.
"Hi I'm Blaize Zabini" a deep voice said. I looked at him and he had a very chi-sled face and eyes as dark as his suit.
"Nice to meet you" I replied.
A beautiful girl with long blonde locks smiled at me and also introduced herself, "Hiya I'm Daphne Greengrass".
"hiya" I said back and we all started small talk about how sumner was and what we was up to, that stopped when there was a thump on the door.

The door slowly opened and revealed two boys each around 6 foot one with brown curly messy hair and another with platinum blonde hair and ocean blue eyes , him I recognised instantly, it was Draco Malfoy. The last time we spoke was at his parents ball and we didn't end on good terms. The brown haired boy sat on pansies lap and leant over to me, got my hand and kissed it softly.
"What a pleasure I have to be sat near such a beautiful young lady" he said in a posh tone. He stared at me for around 5 seconds then shuddered.
"Sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Theodore Nott, but you can call me theo" he said as he placed a kiss on my hand.
"I'm Valentina Primrose" I said back, also speaking in a posh tone.
"Ahhh a primrose I see" Theo said. I nodded my head in response.
It was silent until daphne said "this is Draco Malfoy" turning to face the blonde boy.
"I know" I said with a giggle because I didn't want to seem rude.
We all sat down and chatted on the rest of the train ride to Hogwarts.  I joined in with afew bits of the conversation but Most of the time I had my head in my hands staring out of the window at the scenery.

Draco POV
I walked with Theo to the compartment that we always sit at and Theo ,being the idiot that he is fell and hit his head on the door. I chuckled because I liked when people tripped up .He slowly opened the door and when he did I noticed Valentina sat next to the window. Theo had to make a move so he sat on Pansy and was flirting with Valentina. I was staring intently at her but she didn't even bat an eyelid that I was stood there. I sat down next to daphne and continued to stare at her. All I could think about was how beautiful she had become over summer, the last time I saw her was in June at a ball that was held at the Malfoy manner. The rest of the group was talking the whole way to Hogwarts and Valentina was involved with some of it. But most of the time she just sat, with her head rested in her hand staring at the window. 'God she was beautiful' is all I could think.
