I'm positive

"Hey mom" I smiled as I stepped out of my car and hugged her 

"Hiya honey" she kissed my cheek "engagement ring or promise ring?"

"Matching promise rings I think. I'm not ready for an engagement..but..we are talking about moving into an apartment together" 

"Awww honey!" She cooed as I lead her into the store 

"That's another reason I wanted you here.. Jimin doesn't have much, and without the settlement money..which I'm not even sure how much I have.. I can't afford an apartment for the both of us. So I needed your input" 

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive mom" I smiled "more sure than anything ever" 

She got close to me and stood on her tiptoes to whisper into my ear 

"Holy fucking shit!" I yelled making the jeweler jump and my mom smack me to get me to shut up "mom what the fuck" I whisper yelled 

"It was a fifteen million dollar lawsuit" she whispered 

"Mom" I shook my head "why didn't you ever tell me?" 

"You were so young baby, I didn't want you to grow up thinking everything would be handed to you on a silver platter. I wanted you to continue living your normal life the way you were. I think you're old enough, smart enough, and humble enough to finally have full access to the account" 

"Mom" I whispered as I hugged her 

"Don't piss it away though, please? Continue to make good choices, live modestly, the way I raised you. Yeah?"

"Of course. I have no need or want for anything flashy and expensive. I just want to be able to take care of you, Jimin, myself, and if Jimin and I make it as long as I hope we do...our children"  

"Aww honey" she wiped a tear from her eye and wrapped me into a tight mom hug, I squeezed her back and kissed the top of her head "alright" she sniffled and pulled away from me "let's get you boys your rings" she smiled as she took my hand and walked with me further into the shop to look at the men's rings. 

I'm lucky that both of us wear common ring sizes, we were able to pick out perfect matching rings, paid for them in full, and walked out with them. I was so excited as I hugged her, kissed her goodbye, and thanked her for her help and for trusting me before I took off back to the school. I had just enough time to stop and grab him flowers, run to my room, get changed, and walk down to the theater with Jungkook. 

He was just as excited as I was about the rings. He brought his camera to take pictures for Jimin and then decided he would take pictures of us afterwards when I surprise him with the rings and the flowers. 

"Want to come to dinner with us after?"

"Nah" he shook his head "you two enjoy yourselves" he smiled and patted my shoulder as we took our seats near the front of the stage. 

Once the seats were packed the lights lowered and the stage began. 

The first performance surprised the fuck out of me. 

He told me he was the lead dancer, he never told me he would be singing. 

He sat inside a bubble, he began singing softly and my whole body melted into the chair, when the bubble popped and he began dancing as he sang and was joined on stage by other dancers, I stared with my mouth open in awe. He was beautiful. He was perfect. 

"Let me love, let me love you" he ended the set and the lights went out again, the crowd stood up and roared as they clapped and gave him a standing ovation.
