My Valentine

I wrote lots of Valentines last year,
I hoped to bring love and cheer;
but despite them all -
no one called,
and no Valentine, appeared.
My Valentines, they must have fizzled,
though I thought, some rather sizzled;
despite all that cheer
not one volunteered -
until now - and it's @NicholasStitzel!
