"What- what do you mean?" Hermione was taken aback after she heard the big news from her mother. Seriously it couldn't be ,could it?
"You heard me, Hermione," said Hermione's mom flatly. It was as if her mom thought that it was the most simple and unperplexing thing in the entire world.
"This can't be happening! You can't do this to me!" Hermione was anxious! What would happen if...
"I don't want to marry Draco Malfoy," she screamed with such ferocity that her mother almost fell out of her seat.
"We made a decision and you must obey us," said Hermione's mother cooly.
"What about my opinion? My choice?" Hermione choked on her words, fighting back a tsunami of tears that threatened to spill.
"I'm sorry, honey, but there is no other choice."
"What did they give you? Money? Houses? Cars? What?"
"Hermione, my daughter-"
"No mum. I understand. It's okay that you sold your daughter to rich people. Congrats!"
Hermione ran to her bedroom sobbing. There, she cried until she was fast asleep.
