"It will be incredible!" Hoseok had mentioned, he was very excited, he had overheard a private conversation between the emperor and the alpha training leader.
He had learned that, within a few months, they would recruit alphas and betas to train them long enough for them to be part of the palace defense army, and he definitely wanted to be in that army.
"They will also choose the strongest to be the palace guards! It's too exciting, I'll be one of the best!"
"I don't doubt it." Jungkook handed Hoseok an apple after he managed to lower it from the tree with a stone.
Jungkook to be omega, he was a rebel who spent most of his time behaving like an alpha from tree to tree chasing adventures, he liked to climb and obtain fruits, in addition to staying there to see the nests of birds, although of course sometimes he ended up getting pecked by birds.
Hoseok was a beta, who spent most of his time reading the palace library, his father was in charge of giving private history and literature classes to prince Jimin, and he had become friends with him quickly, Hoseok liked going to the palace and being able to explore every corner of the library, sometimes I managed to find interesting books, there was a minority that were only life writings of some of the ancient emperors.
"I can not wait more!" Hoseok took a big bite of the apple.
"Jimin, here." The prince gladly received the apple that Jungkook gave him.
He had become very good friends with the two of them, he felt very comfortable, although sometimes it was too tiresome for him to have to listen to Jungkook talk about how he had fallen from a tree while trying to save a bird's nest.
"Didn't your father tell you about the draft?"
"No, not at all," Jimin looked at the apple, "but I can't go in anyway, I have a lot to learn here in the palace, plus that's more for alphas..."
"Don't forget the betas!"
"It's for everyone, it has to be, an omega can be good in battles if he wants to."
And that was very true, Jimin knew that there were few omegas in the small army, they managed to be good messengers and even archers, it was very difficult for them to put them in front, due to the voices of command, if the enemies managed to control an army of omegas, it would be a ruin, the good thing was, wars were nowhere to be seen, but they should always be prepared, or that's what his father had told him.
"I admit it, but it is very risky."
"It is," Jungkook said, "but it would be nice. I'd like to go inside."
Yoongi had been listening to that conversation, he wanted to talk to Jimin, but he didn't expect his friends to be there, but he was able to pluck up his courage and came out of hiding as if he hadn't been listening at all of the whole conversation they had had.
"Prince Jimin."
"Yoongi!" Jimin had realized that Jungkook had a great affection for Yoongi, and he didn't understand why, he was just one more alpha of all those that existed in the world. "Why did you come? Do you want an apple? Will I get one for you!"
"No, Jungkook, I don't want you to hurt yourself."
"You know I'll get out unscathed!" Immediately the omega climbed the tree again in search of an apple in perfect condition for Yoongi.
Jimin pursed his lips, he felt annoyed, why would Jungkook give an apple to that alpha? Why not another? Why exactly his predestined?
"Jimin..."
"If you don't put the honorifics, you shouldn't talk to me."
Hoseok couldn't believe how Jimin was talking, and he had never heard him speak like that, so angry.
"Sorry."
"Stop apologizing, you're bored, you always apologize and it's annoying."
Both of the prince's friends had been surprised, why was he talking to Yoongi like that? Jungkook felt bad seeing how the alpha looked down.
