Inherently man is bad,
According to Freud of course.
Inherently I am bad,
According to my loved ones of course.
Apparently I am inherently wrong,
I am told by those who call me smart.
Apparently they are inherently right,
I am told by those who constantly
look to me
for reassurance that they are not
inherently a representative of
stupidity.
I should share my ideas,
According to those who don't want to listen.
I should not just leave arguments,
According to those who don't want to dispute.
Apparently I should be of my own morality,
I am instructed by those who tell me what is right and wrong.
Apparently I should be free to do with myself as I wish,
I am instructed by those who enforce restraint
So that things I want are from me constraint
And what I desire becomes ever so feint
They are in the grasps of you.
Inherently this poem is rude.
As it should be.
Manipulation does not merit manners.
