Houses, falling trees, things like that

I'm eating pretzels and sitting here.
The house is actually alive. It's talking. It's telling me about its day. It's tired. It's been here for 40 years. It tells me about the people who used to live in my apartment. They were rude, they farted a lot. They never took off their shoes and now that's why the carpets look so scraggly. I thought this was interesting information and i nodded along. "Are you tired of being a apartment building?" "no, well, kinda" the house replies. The house seems like it told me all it wanted to tell me today.

And so i went for a walk. And then the trees started falling over and so I ran away from the falling trees because i did NOT want to be squashed today.

I got to a clearing where there was no trees that would fall on me and i stood there because that was the only place i was safe in the whole world. but there wasn't really anything for me to do there. But If i went anywhere else I'd get squashed because I can't just keep dodging trees dodging danger dodging leaves and branches. So i stood there, there's got to be a reason why I'm here. I look around to see if there's anything I can gain about this experience standing here, but besides just looking at the flimsy trees there isn't really. So I stand here for a lot longer than I really should of and I get tired. I decide to dig down with my hands, under the trees. I look really stupid while doing it. If someone saw me they'd probably never be my friend. I get pretty deep into the ground and continue tunneling. It's cold. It's such a dumb day i wish I were at home.

But then, of course, of course when you go underground you have to worry about the mole people and of course there was one standing right there in my tunnel. And pretty soon he was questioning me about if i had any permits to do this and how dare I and please stop.
So I did and I went back up above ground and it started raining. I felt like crying.

But then a huge 11 foot tall bug landed beside me and then I climbed on. There was nothing else I could do in that clearing, so like why not man? The bug told me to hold on and I said ok.

We flew above the trees and then past that. I asked the bug where it was taking me. The bug said dennys. We got to dennys and sat down. And then I asked the bug what it likes to do for fun, because that's my favorite conversation starter. And I know it's not a date, but something about this felt like a date. The bug said nothing, it wasn't a big talker. But that's ok. I enjoy going to dennys anyway. I got pancakes, and after I finished my meal it was time to go. The bug got up and paid. That was nice of them. Maybe it is a date.

The bug just stood in the parking lot and I climbed back on their back again. The bug asked me where I lived and I told them my address. It was night time now and the air felt like that warm nostalgic summer nighttime air, the stars were visible, and honestly i was vibin'. The bug told me that it likes flying, as to answer my question earlier. And I asked it if it liked doing anything else and it said eh. We got to my house and I thanked the bug for the dennys and the flight. And the bug nodded, and crawled away.
