Chapter 1

Rock music, hammering and footsteps is what filled the apartment. It hasn't been 10 minutes since they walked into the apartment and they got right into the decor.

Eden was one to sometimes prioritize the wrong thing, for soon it would start getting late and they would realize that they have only been putting up decor for the past 5 hours and the night was drawing near and they bed wasn't unwrapped from the plastic, the bed frame was still in its box, pans and pots and cooking utensils were packed away and there was no groceries made and the only one that has eaten was their cat Mitch.

They plop down from the step stool they were using to put up wall shelves on where to put their collectibles. Mitch meowed and Eden looks at him.-"What?"- they turn off the music-"Dinner time is not for another hour"-The cat walks away and Eden looks at the time.-"Oh wow! Is already that late"- 8pm showed the clock on their oven.-"Sorry bud, I'll feed you now"- Eden scoops cat food into a cat bowl and puts it down as well as a bowl with water for Mitch to drink and eat. They went back to decorating the apartment.

After a while Eden started feeling watched, they turned looked around and saw someone, a person, she was taller by not that much, her baggy hoodie hid most her body, but the shorts she was wearing revealed muscular legs.-"Um, can I help you?"-They look at them.-"No, I'm just admiring your decorating"-She said as she pushed themself off the door frame.-"H-Hey you can't just come in"-

-"The door was open, all I did was look, if you don't wanna risk someone coming in then close the door genius"-She said with an eye roll.-"Ok well at least you can tell me who you are"-She rolls her eyes again.-"Sena, I live just down the hall"-

-"Well, Sena, what brought you to my apartment?"-Eden says with an eye roll of their own.-"1. Your loud music 2. You're playing my favorite band and 3. Love your decor"- Eden looks away.-"Thanks I guess"-Mitch jumped on the counter, gaining the attention of Sena.-"That's a big hairball you got there"-She points out crossing her arms.-"That hairball is a cat"-Eden says petting Mitch.-"No kidding? Thought it was radioactive or something"-Eden was starting to get annoyed.-"Is there anything you need?"-They asked trying to get them to leave.-"Actually I cane to offer help, you seem like you still have a lot to get done and don't see anyone helping so"-Sena answered honestly.-"Oh, really?"-Eden wasn't expecting that. They thought she just came here to be rude.-"Well, yeah I could use some help"-

-"Sweet, let me know what to do"-Eden smiles and turns on the music again.-"You could help me put these shelves up"-

-"Got it doll"-Sena says.-"My name is Eden, not doll"-

-"Sure"- is all they say before grabbing the shelves and helping Eden put them on the wall. Eden was kinda weirded out by how random this occurrence was but they just went with it.

It had been a few hours and the living room was basically almost done.-"Where do you want these pots and pans girly?"-Sena asked as she took cooking utensils from a box.-"Don't call me girly and out them in the bottom right cabinet"-

-"Got it"-Sena replied as she put them away. Eden plopped down on the couch and looks at the time, 12:34 showed the clock on her screen, they sigh to put it away.-"Stupid cat tree took forever to put together"-They cussed and glared at the cat tree Mitch slept soundly on. That tree was near impossible to put together and consumed most of their time. To Eden's luck at least they had help from Sena.

Sena walks to the couch.-"Say, if I asked you out on a date, what's the possibility of you saying yes?"- She asked all nonchalant.-"Hmm, helping me with the rest of the apartment would be one way."-Eden said with a smirk. Sena returned the smirk and leaned in close.-"Is on cutie, I'll be here at 9"- They wink at them and head out of the apartment and into theirs. Eden rolled their eyes and yawn.

They changed into pajamas and since their mattress was still wrapped in plastic they just lay on the couch with a blanket over themselves.-"Night Mitch"-They say to the already sleepy cat.

The next morning Eden woke up to the sound of knocking on their door. They drag themselves out the bed half asleep and opens the door to reveal Sena with a brown bag with food in it and a cup of coffee.-"Rise and shine doll, I said I'll be here by 9 and here I am"-
