"What...?"

"We kill demons, not humans so you've got it wrong. We aren't murdering innocent humans." Chan filled in, leaning fowards as he rested his elbows on the table in front of him. A sly smirk on his lips.

"Is there a law where you go to prison for killing demons?" Felix questioned, lifting one eyebrow up as he leaned back.

"No but you murdered someone who is in a human bod-"

"Once a demon enters your body, you're no longer human. The human soul you once had will be eaten by the demon. So technically, we don't kill humans." Chan cockily interrupted, looking at you and at the personal camera that's filming him.

"How do you know all this information? Why are you so certain that it isn't a human?!" You slammed the palm of your hand on the table. It hurt but it would be embarrassing to show any sign of pain right now.

"Our fathers did research. We found out that the bodies, after we kill them, rot faster than an average human being." Felix said, brushing his hair with his fingers as he looked around the room.

"So...does that mean there were way more victims than the ones we know of...?" You nervously asked, swallowing almost nothing as you were afraid to hear his answer. Is it in the hundreds? Thousands?

"Why? Scared?" Chan chuckled.

"Why would I be scared? I'm asking this only for interrogation purposes. Don't get too cocky with me mate.", felix chuckled at that but that slowly faded as he remembered of the situation he's in.

Surprised was an understatement to what he was feeling right now. The emotions were surging in his head. He didn't know how to feel on the inside but he knew to appear normal on the outside.

Showing that he was weak and vulnerable due to your actions would just label you as his weakness, which was true, but he didn't want to show it.

Never in a million years would he have thought that his first ever true love would betray him in a way he could've never imagined. He loved her. He really did, but did you?

Just imagining the fact that Changbin might've been right...broke him. He even turned to god, hoping that he would hear his pleas that you shouldn't and couldn't be his rival.

That you weren't someone he would have to kill in the future. That you weren't someone he would have to track down and see you dead, cold and lifeless. Just the thought of it gave him goosebumps. That you actually loved him and did not play with his genuine feelings.

He looked towards you as he payed attention to your body language. You looked so confident that it made him fall in love even more despite it being dangerous to. You knew what you were doing which made Felix think that you were in this business for quite a long time, years even.

The man next to you, your partner eyed Felix. He saw how Felix kept looking at you with very obvious heart eyes. He thought to himself, 'did the criminal fall in love with a secret agent?'

He wasn't surprised. After all, you were a really lovely person and was someone that's hard to despise...unless you betray them in an unpredictable way. Like now.

You leaned in to whisper something to your partner, causing Felix to watch closely. You seemed close to him. He wondered if you were partners with him since day one.

It made him chuckle internally, how the innocent you showed your true self in mere seconds. You hid yourself well.

Felix scoffed, "you're wasting our time here, love. We didn't do anything wrong."

"You-"

The knock on the door interrupted you from replying to Felix as your coworker entered the interrogation room.

He stepped beside you, grabbing onto your shoulder as he pulled you close to him.

"I'll take it from here babe." He said, kissing your cheek while ruffling your hair and softly pushing you out the room, asking for your partner to stay.

You glanced at Felix and saw how his left eyebrow was lifted as his eyes were dark. He was mad.

Excusing yourself, you walked to the other side of the two way mirror, in order to monitor what they're saying.

"Tell me more about these 'demon hunters' you claim yourself to be."

"Well... our fathers were the start of it all. They found out that demons exist and did shit ton of research on them, created chemicals to demolish them and passed the information on to us once we turned ten." Chan explained after seeing Felix glaring at the man who just entered.

"You were exposed to gruesome scenes at such a young age?"

Chan nodded.

"Did your father kill any of these demons?"

"He did."

"Where is he right now?"

"Dead."

There was a silence in the room, no one saying anything as they all just sucked the information in.

"What about your dad? Was he the same?" He directed the question to Felix this time.

"Yeah. They all died together. All of them." He answered.

"How so?"

Felix glared at the person, "I didn't know I was supposed to give personal information that I prefer to keep to myself?"

"It's an interrogation. You give me all the answers to the questions I'm asking you. It's so that it helps us."

Chan noticed how Felix was agitated so he patted the males thighs, asking him to calm down and answer appropriately.

Felix sighed, "They all died from a plane crash."

"Where were they heading to?"

"Busan."

"Why to Busan?"

"To give their research to this big company that claimed to also have research on demons..."

"Do you remember the name of the company?"

Felix shook his head as a no which caused the male in front to left out a sigh. If he knew the company, it would've been way better.

"What will you do with us?" Chan asked. He looked at Felix first and saw how the male looked at the man in front in confusion, almost like he noticed something.

"Put you behind bars for the time being. We can't let dangerous people like you roam around the city."

"But we don't harm humans. We are humans so why would we hurt our own kind?", Felix argued.

"Some people are sick in their head to do so. It's not impossible.", he replied but continued after seeing that they didn't talk back.

"That would be all for today. When we investigate more, we will decide on what we shall do with your case."

The male interrogating looked to the two way mirror and nodded his head. You took this as a signal and started walking towards the room they were in.

"I recognise you..." Felix stared, his gaze piercing at the male in front.

"Who? Me?"

"Yeah... in the club. With Y/N." He scoffed, "so she's been betraying me from the start?"

The male in front chuckled as he stood up and leaned forward with his arms, using the table for support, "shocking, isn't it?"
