Pride and Fury
The wealthiest of the Seven Animal Kingdoms, the Lion Tribe was the first of the seven animal tribes to swear fealty to Emperor Fluminox I three hundred years ago, securing their positions in Chima's history and earning the right for some among them to be given the Gift of Fire. Ten years ago, the Lion Tribe led the rebellion against Emperor Fluminox III, increasing their influence on Chima's ruler. Their territory is the Gilded Plains, and their ancestral seat is the Lion Temple. After Lord Lagravis was convicted of killing King Crominus, he was executed, passing the mantle of Lord of the Lion Tribe to his son Lennox. He has since declared himself the King of the Lion Tribe, claiming sovereignty from Queen Crooler. The patron god of the Lion Tribe is Leoric, the lion god of courage.
