"Get up, Emma!" I heard from behind the door. My father shouted at me. I was supposed to go to school for the first time after moving here.

I got up, went into the bathroom, and brushed my teeth. I put on baggy jeans with a plain white top and put on a thin jacket and put on my not so clean jordans. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and left the room.

My father was already waiting for me in the kitchen with a smile on his face. "Good morning," he told me. "You too," I told him, smiling. After breakfast I got in the car and immediately after me my father, as he went to take me to school. I was pretty nervous. I didn't know anyone here.

When we showed up in front of the school, I got out of the car and walked slowly into the building. I needed to find a directorate, so I started right away.

After some time of searching, I finally found her. I stood in front of the door and knocked. After a few seconds, the door opened and a boyish figure appeared in front of me. He was about a head and a half taller than me, with a strange hairstyle and something at his feather. I took a step back so he could pass. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. "How can anyone be so hot," I thought. The headmistress appeared in the doorway and called me downstairs. We talked about a few things and gave me a schedule. The first lesson was math. I sighed and chose to look for a class.

After a few minutes of searching, I finally found her. I walked in the door and sat down on an empty bench. I noticed that the guy in the morning was sitting in the back. After a short while, the teacher entered the classroom. "We have a new student here," he pointed out to me. I stood up and introduced myself, "My name is Emma, and I moved here a few days ago." as soon as I answered, I sat down on my place. The hour was extremely boring and so were those who followed it.

I went to the room where everyone met for lunch. I picked up a tray and waited for them to give me food. I turned with the food on the tray and looked for a place to sit down. I saw an empty table and sat down. I rolled my eyes at the people sitting at the other tables until I came across a boy I met in the morning, our eyes met, and I quickly looked away. Someone grabbed my shoulder for a moment. I looked up and saw a boy I had never seen that day. Poor figure, dark brown hair and a smile on his face. "Hi, I'm Miguel, are you new here though?" introduced himself. "Hi I'm Emma and yes somehow" I replied, smiling. "Could I sit down?" he asked and I nodded. We talked all lunch and finally went to escort me to class. We said goodbye and I still had to suffer for another two boring hours until the end of the class. I left the building and walked slowly home.

"Emma, stop!" someone shouted.
