Carla and Samuel.

It's been a year since they spoke, Carla had missed him though and decided to come back near the end of school. She knew Samuel might have moved on since he didn't text her back but, she still loved him.

And in reality, he still loved her. There was a girl, her name was Ari, she had tried it with him with her banter, always flirting with him. He tried to back but he still loved Carla.

Lu, Nadia, and Carla had all planned to surprise the boys at school. Carla knew he wasn't going to run to her, but she wasn't jumping in his arms no matter how good he looks.

In that day, Samuel was in debate class and was debating Ari, so this day was the worst day Carla could come.

"Good luck for the Debate, Garcia." She fixed up Samuels tie, Samuel stepped back, "get your grimy hands off me, stop playing Guzman if you like me." Ari rolls her eyes, "I don't like neither of you, got it?" She walks away leaving Samuel worried. He didn't care for Ari but she knew she was trying to affect the school, he just didn't know how. Ari cared for him, it seemed like rich girls had a thing for soft boys. She was starting to love Samuel. Maybe she already did. And Carla had no clue.

Meanwhile...

"I can't wait to see Guzman." Nadia speaks on excitement. Carla wanted to admit she was excited but she didn't want to, not knowing what Samuel is doing, she just couldn't.

All three of them transferred, they realized they missed Spain, and significant others.

"Me too." Carla sighs, "you mean Samuel?" She shakes her head in disagreement, "no, he stopped texting, I'm over him." Well Carla tried. She hooked up with a stranger and felt guilty ever since so she never did again.

Samuel was watching Ari, she smirked to herself, "Samu, I'm not going to flirt with Guzman if it makes you jealous." He rolls his eyes.

"No, I want you to stop flirting with me, it was a one night stand Ari, you don't mean that much to me." What he said was true, he didn't like Ari, nor love, he only hook up with her cause he was drunk and couldn't stop thinking about Carla.

Ari smiles and slaps him, "Why? Why don't you just fall in love with me?" Ari had become obsessed with Samuel, and the case of Polo, her whole family had but Ari fell for Samuel, she wants them to live happily and run away.

That's the last thing he wants..

"Because I'm in love with someone else!" He shouts, they were going to have to go on stage in a bit and this wasn't going to be good.

"Really? Who?" She asks calmly.

"You don't know her, she left last year, I'm visiting her soon." Ari scoffed.

"Your lying, your obsession with me has gotten out of hand." Ari whispers.

"If there's a person I'm obsessed it's the girl I love. Not you." He walks away leaving Ari pissed. Ari knew who the girl was, she stalked his socials and when they went to his house for the one night stand, she looked to find pictures of Carla all over the place.

Carla, Nadia, and Lu had arrived, Carla started to be really nervous. 'What if Samuel has a girlfriend?' She thought you herself.

They enter the school, they knew the debate ceremony was happening. Carla started to think of how hers and Samuels conversation would start. Knowing Samuel, a whole nervous wreck. Ari had rushed out a room and saw Carla. Unbelievable. She thought.

Carla DIDN'T even pay attention to the look Ari gave her, she was looking for someone else. Samuel..

The intercom system speaks: "Samuel And Ari, debate starts soon, take your seats." Carla smiles, she knew Samuel wanted to be a lawyer, this could help. They all walked to the the debate room and sat in the back. It was the same place Lu and Nadia received their college scholarship.
