Hands in the pockets of your jacket, you walk up the stairs into the second floor. Today is your first day of High School and you decided to come early, in order to be able to choose a seat first and not have to ask someone to take a seat next to them.

You weren't really shy in particular, but always been a little awkward around new people. And now, there was a whole class full of new people - sheer horror for your introverted soul. Everyone else would've looked forward to meet so many new people, but the amount of new faces and names would be unbearable overwhelming for you. Not to mention that you were really bad in remembering names. Sighting quietly, you come to a stop in front of your classroom door and slap your cheeks with the palm of your hands. Shut your eyes and go!

Expecting to be the first, and with a new wave of excitement swelling up in your chest you swing the door open, just to realize you're not. Your eyes land on a very tall blonde boy, who is sitting in the third row at the window seat, absently minded looking outside. 'An upperclassman?' you wonder, staring at him with your mouth wide open. 'But the sign definitely said class 1-4, right?' Surprised you take a step back, but then you notice a smaller boy in the row in front of him, waving to you with a smile on his face. „Misaki-chan!" he calls out to you, patting on the seat beside him. „Good morning, Tadashi-kun. So we're in the same class again?" The dark haired boy sends you a smile, as you take a seat next to him, throwing your backpack under the table. The two of you have been in the same class since primary school, and you would also sometimes hang around on the weekends playing video games in your room.

Now he turns around to the taller boy behind him, trying to get his attention by waving his hands in front of the blondes face. With a grunt, he takes down his headset, looking down at you with a frown. His golden brown eyes inspect you through the lenses of his glasses, but they show no emotion at all. Somehow his expressionless face suddenly seems strangely familiar to you, but you cant recall where you saw it before.

„Tsukki, do you remember Misaki? We used to go to the same primary school," Tadashi introduces you with a smile. Now you remember. You cant recall his full name, but the past events are starting to flash in front of your eyes. You remember a boy from the class next to yours, at this time already taller than anyone else in your school. He always had an expressionless face, or a really annoying smirk on his face, but even thought he seemed to have a really arrogant manner he was never really causing trouble with other kids. With one exception, which was you.

Now he's looking down at you, with his usual unresponsive expression, shrugging his shoulders unconcerned. He lets out another quiet grunt, which could have been interpreted as both 'yes' or 'no', before looking out of the window again. Apparently this guy seemed to be the same shit-head as ever. The reason why you can't seem to remember his name, apart from the fact that you were bad in remembering names anyway, was probably that you never used to address him by his name. Moreover, names like 'four-eyes' and 'giant' run through your mind, and when you look at him now, you already have plenty of ideas to add to that list.

"Ah, that smug four-eye from class 2? That idiot has become even taller. Scary. I thought I was in the wrong classroom for a second," you state, glancing at him with a repellent expression on your face. The blonde clicks his tongue in annoyance and shots you an irritated glance. "And you haven't grown an Inch, 'Tiny'." There you go, so he remembered annoying nicknames he gave you as well. In your mind you put two more on your list, and you're already sure that you could fill an entire book with them by the end of the year.

"Yeah, sorry bout that. Not everyone is born a goddamn giant," You throw back at him, remembering how he would always hold up your things back then, so you'd be unable to reach them. Fucking retard!

"Small, no curves. Totally unfeminine. really not my type!" he adds on top and gives you a disgusting fake smile. Yea, you really hated this guy. Getting angry now, you get up and put your hands on his desk. "I'm really sorry for not matching your type. Luckily, I am not interested in people like you as well," you hiss back, before you sitting back down on your seat next to Tadashi and start to unpack your school books. This is gonna be hell of an annoying year!

You try not to look at the blond boy behind you, but sometimes it feels as if someones stare was burning a hole into your back. But when you turn around the blonde always looks out of the window impassively.

After a while, the classroom started to fill with people you didn't know, the seat on your right still empty. But suddenly your name is called out by a pretty red haired girl. "Misa-chan, thank you for saving a seat for me. Its nice to be in the same class again," your friend Kaori exclaims with a wide smile on her face, before taking a seat next to you. You only hum in response, before glancing up to her. "I dint, tho. I didn't even know you were in the same class." - "How ruuudee~" she pouts, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "You should've saved a seat for me anyway, just in chase." - "Well, it was empty wasn't it?" you sight, while shrugging your shoulders.

Kaori Sato was undoubtedly the kind of girl anybody would call cute. Long copper red hair, which she always lavishly styled into large curls. Huge green eyes, always with a cute expression on her pretty face. Not to mention that she never left the house without make-up. Even back in middle school she was already the top talk of the boys. And she really enjoyed this kind attention. You didn't mind that though.

It wasn't that you weren't a pretty girl yourself, much more your rough character doesn't really match your appearance. Plus, you didn't bother to invest as much time in your appearance as she did. You would usually let your blonde hair air dry, were of the opinion that mascara was more than enough and you preferred to rather wear pants than skirts. You absolutely hate being hit on by guys.

"But say," your friend suddenly speaks up again and her eyes wandering around the classroom blatantly. "Being in class 4 really sucks. All sporty boys are in classes 1-3. Here are just the nerds."

You only shrug your shoulders on her comment. „Well, Tadashi does play volleyball." you note, pointing at the boy beside you. Kaori gives him a disgusted look. "Are you serious, Misa-chan?" she grouses, before tuning back to her notebooks.

You give the boy an apologetic smile, but he didn't really seemed to mind her comment. He already knew, that he wasn't quite her type.

'I feel you buddy, I feel you,' you mumble to him in your thoughts, throwing an annoyed look at the boy behind you.
