"Um, Kiyotaka-kun?"
My co-worker, Akari, calls out whilst I sweep the floor.
"What is, Akari?"
"Um, your wife is... how do I say this, glaring at you?"
"Hm?" I glance over my shoulder, before sighing, "Just leave her be."
"Did you make her mad?"
"That's her natural face."
"Is it?" She widens her mouh, "That's cool. She's able to frown naturally, eh?"
"It's not really a good thing, if I were to say myself."
"Eh? Kiyotaka-kun? I thought you were into sadistic girls?"
"That's far from it..."
"Ehhh? Is that really? I totally thought you were a masochist or something, considering you married her."
"I-Is that so..."
"Maybe you should take customer orders so you can have an excuse to talk to her?"
I look back at Akari, "Are you sure? Cleaning sure certainly is a bore."
"No, No, I'll be fine. Just talk with Suzune-san!"
She takes my broom away.
"Will the manager approve?"
"Sure he will! That single, old fart won't spare a thought!"
"Those truly are harsh words coming from a girl's mouth..."
"Just go already!"
She presses her notepad and pen onto my chest, and pushes me away.
Do I really have to see her now?
I can imagine her nitpicking my minor flaws... such as taking a breath when I was not supposed to.
She does everything to whip me into shape.

"Your order, Ma'am?" I ask."That's Suzune for you."
"We're at work, so we're obliged to call ladies 'Ma'am'"
She nods her head, "That's good. At least you did something right."
"That's good to hear."
"Don't get cocky! You missed several spots of the floor which were left unclean!"
I sigh,
"Is my service, perhaps, dissatisfactory for you, Ma'am? If so, must I bring my manager in to tend with your dissatisfaction?"
She strokes her chin, "Hmm, maybe I'll pass for now. Your manager is quite a weird man, so I'd like to avoid him as much as possible."
I guess there's no complaints there.
"Anyway, Kiyotaka." She clears her throat, "I did not know you had planned to be married to two wives at once, if I must be honest."
"..."
"..."
"Come again?"
"Akari-san, was it? She's around the same age as us, which is a good age to marry, indeed. Her personality is a minor concern, however-"
"Wait, what makes you think I would marry her?"
"Were you guys not flirting with each other just now?"
She really is bad at reading the situation...
"Perhaps you misunderstood, Ma'am?"
"Hm, is that so? Then, I'll pass it off as a mere misunderstanding."
