'Uhhhh... What?' I asked Lucy, the girl, when we entered the guild.
'It's a little random at first, but... HEY! EVERYONE! WE'VE GOT NEW MAGES!'
'Dragon Slayer,' I corrected her. 'Fire Dragon Slayer.'
'Hey, fight with me!' yelled a boy with pink hair, looking at me.
'That's Natsu,' Lucy whispered. 'He's annoying. But just fight him to keep him happy.'
'Fine. I'll fight you.'
'Karyū no Tekken!' yelled Natsu, attempting to punch me with his fist.
I rolled my eyes and respond to it dismissively. 'Karyū no Kagitsume.'
'You're a Fire Dragon Slayer too?'
'Yeah, okay, I don't know if a Sky Dragon Slayer can fight with the Karyū no Kagitsume. I really doubt it, though.'
'You had Dragon Lacrima implanted into your body?'
I laughed. 'Never! A dragon raised me, idiot. They offered me that Lacrima shit, but I refused it. My skills are my skills. Nothing's ever going to change that. And don't jump to conclusions.'
'So... were you raised by Igneel, too?'
'Igneel?' I put my head to one side. 'I remember hearing about Igneel, and meeting him a couple of times, but other than that, I wasn't raised by him. I was raised by the dragon named Iskaca. I could use Fire since I was born. People call me a "Second Salamander".'
'Another one?' sighed a boy to the right of me. He had black hair, and... no clothes on? Huh. Weird.
'We really don't need another Natsu around here...' said a girl with long scarlet hair. She had normal clothes on, but she didn't look... sane.
'Hiya! I'm Mirajane!' said a girl with white hair, coming up to me. 'What's your name?'
'My name? It's Neko. Just Neko.'
'That's a pretty name! Well, Neko, I hope you enjoy your time here!'
I glanced back at Aya, who was looking positively fucked. How the hell were we going to enjoy our time with a bunch of serious weirdos?

'Want to stay over at mine tonight?' Lucy asked, as the sky began to darken.
''Course. Why are you asking us anyway?'
'I don't know! Oh, I forgot to introduce you to Gray. And Erza, or Mira-sa--'
'I've already met Mira.'
'Oh. Okay. Hey, where's Aya?' Lucy looked around for the dark-haired girl.
'She's got her own house.'
'Oh.'
For the rest of the way, me and Lucy just walked home in silence.
